  1. Yes, it’s a mixed bag of hope; hope that Stephen stayed true to his progress and was able to show the new Stephen to Kitt. Hope that Kitt wasn’t pressured to do anything drastic or to run again…as if threatened or betrayed. So many possibilities a the unpredictable 50/50 risk of Kitt get scared or hurt 😢. The football season is still a long way from graduation, hopefully better contact and communication is on the horizon…especially with Mateo leaving sometime seemingly soon. I so hope Tom sees and takes the opportunity to put Kitt up. Kitt needs the close support and occasional hug to keep him grounded; no @weinerdog, not the daddy fetish, just emotional support in his limited world.

    Chapter 21

Good point, having a person from the dig involved with black market sales is not that far fetched, as we know people can always be enticed into nefarious behavior when money and greed present themselves with opportunities that could seem harmless to some, while most offensive to others.
  3. But for Kitt, where is home now. Kicked out indeed, he had to find, make, build another life…a home. It’s not all that he ever wanted, but it’s his …life now. How do you move back…once force to move on. I don’t see Kitt ever going back to the Wellington house…ever, not as a resident, except possibly a visit. Matt is his destiny now, and after this game, that destiny has probably changed; ironically, taking Kitt to his new goal…to be accepted and attending “their” chosen university. GED for Kitt, application to the school…could it be that Kitt attracts attention at the pool and draws attention to a possible scholarship? Yes, Kitt will go home, his home, wherever he…and Matt find themselves…home.

    Chapter 20

Hey now, he introduced Elvis, the Beetles, and many others to prime time TV, but yes, it was kinda clinical in setup and delivery. 🤣

    Chapter 20

Ahhh, the wonderful days when storylines didn’t depend on sexy, or other shock factors to keep you captivated. Now days if you strip out the shock language and sexy scenes…well, the shows would be 50% ads and you could fast forward to enjoy the 27 minutes of actual good storyline remaining.

    Chapter 20

Not true in soap operas, they kill them off, then miraculously the mystery character that has everyone on edge reveals he is still alive and Will seeks revenge. So I guess in some ways I’d love to be a soap opera star…better than the nine lives of cats, these characters never die, they just get revived….ironic, as we come to celebrate Easter. Hmmm 🤔,

Nicely said, so much to agree and cheer that you did!

    The Call

I so understand that. Mine was complicated by being in band with mixed years comprising the various bands: Marching Band , concert band, jazz band, etc. oh my. Sexy young Jeff was a year behind me, and unfortunately that years probably made us just the more awkward at figuring things out. Even in this aged body, I was close to coming clean with another one on my crushes from elementary school, junior, and senior high school. Two complete twenty year careers and then medical retirement made contact more readily available. Unfortunately, he was killed in a freak accident…so now I will never see or talk to him again. From third grade, 8-9yo, to now; then to lose him when he to was about to retire and we had projects and motorcycle rides planned. I missed that sunset before it even happened. 😢

    The Afterglow

Yeah, the cat-humanoid is kinda weird, especially since my cat loves to jump on my chest as I’m reclined. He gets very close, like sniff lips, nose, chin, type close. But most importantly, he likes to stare into my eyes before he starts to lower his lids to purr and rest. Now having these close-ups of the Smokey Lounge Blues Cat is just weird to see and sense my cat up close and expressing himself. 🤣 He is very expressive too, when he joins me outside strolling about while dragging he leash from his harness, if I call for him to come back inside before he has finished exploring, he can be like a toddler fussing, hissing and fussy meow, about not wanting to come inside yet…all the while he is stepping towards the front door. As he then pauses just inside the door for me to unclip the leash he will probably give me one more whining meow. 🤦‍♂️ So, so spoiled, yet once inside he will probably step towards the front his wet food bowl and meow for his next wet food treat; while dry is always out and available, he gets rotating wet food servings of can tuna, boiled shrimp, and shaved raw tuna steak. The limited yard bugs are so exciting, but they just don’t satisfy like those personalized servings do.

    The Afterglow

Oh the joy of finding love and just feeling it returned just as you’d hoped. Likewise, they have waited long enough but have held true their love for one another; I’m so glad they were able to seal their love with a ….sexual kiss 😘. Now the boys have shared their hearts and their sexual souls with their most trusted friends, each other.

    The Call

At that age I think many of us had no faith in gaydar. Gaydar is more of a phenomenon for individuals capable of independent living and being able to risk take even with some room for doubts. Stephen proved why gaydar is a misnomer of confidence for young gays living in an environment where they are so vulnerable and dependent on housing from adults that may not accept such independence of personal choices. Yes, close friends, but remember as Lindsay said, she knew before Matt did. Transitioning from childhood best friends to teen best friends, to teens remaining true when others have started to lose contact or put less value upon those friends as their hormonal independence changes their thinking. No one at that age has a baseline to compare and say resolutely…I’m gay. So could know beyond doubts…while others…are looking at life directions through pictographic depictions similar to IKEA assembly directions. huh 🤔 Tab A goes into Slot B…is that even a real possibility?

    Chapter 3

Some ne er adjust to the harmonics of the pitching boats/ships; of which size does matter too. The pitching is so dependent upon the size of the swells and the ship length. Also, tonnage affects how the ship crests the swells or rides with less abrupt changes, as it dampens the oscillations to some degree. Now, where is the best place to be? The old sailors put you at stern…they say to keep you away from the men; winds and track, but more sinister is the ole salts that just want you to pay dues at the roughest ride at either stern or bow. 🤢 🤮

    Chapter 1

She’s ….He’s a lot to take in, which probably makes her own story tougher than trying to fix Darien’s.
  23. Philippe

    Prologue

I so agree with you, it seems young Wylan is explaining this surroundings, just as much as Darien does, but with more detail that counts in this challenging journey; how could he not have noticed for days that his squire was blind. 😂, so which one is really the blind one?
  24. Philippe

    Prologue

Oh, the story has just begun, but it’s already a trip. The young blind squire does seem to be far more than what most people would ever expect. The young Knight has already learned more about himself and his environment just having his unseen squire show him his surroundings; what an interesting twist.

    The Call

Yes, finally together again, and at their cherished safe place or many teen memories and the bonding of lives never meant to be separated or broken. Kitt couldn’t ready afford to make the trip, but this was his way of showing his own strength and a desperate need to see Matt and their lake as it should be. hopefully Kitt has a good visit and then I think Matt will probably be hard pressed for anyone trying to keep him from taking Kitt back himself; hopefully Kitt has the strength to allow that wish be granted Matt for his faith in Kitt and their bond.
