Not true, across the street is killer burrito stand; very authentic and an GAStro treat without compromise…through SHOUT may help with the post-methane filter cleaning; thanks mom!
-
Wow, you can still do that? Dude, stop drinking coffee and just enjoy the Kama Sutra

Butt what about his best buddy with his crush on Charlie; got to help the boy out…

Oh, there’s better anal beads than pearls. 🤦♂️

Through all the stress and distractions, it implies Taine never actually gassed up, but he did get a bit of an octane boost to his own tank.

I think seeing him across the way is probably a better chance. It was just across the street that Kitt missed Matt. 🤞 -
It’s hard to believe Matt left to go home immediately after getting all the low down he could from the waitress. I would think you’d hit a few more places.

Two Boys, Two Towns, One Quiet Collapse

I think he subconsciously may have realized it, but he’s still to weak to admit his errors. Susan should file a missing people report, and likewise file a complaint against Stephen for child endangerment. -

Raised him to be strong…yet his version of strong is just plain stupid and careless. It could cost his son’s life, has ruined his marriage as even Kitt returning can’t undo the ruin he has sown. He has strong morals, so strong as to shatter the foundation of his family so that it won’t even support a house of cards. Pitiful and sad.😢 -
Cruising Shadows and Quiet Confessions

Perhaps the professor will get him to contact Matt. It seems the professor shares a foolish position where his son too might have run away. Hopefully not kicked out, but as a dad I think the professor may be hurting too. -
And the asshat Dadmein 😈 hasn’t even started a search…I guess he know thinks he’s even more right that Kitt can’t be helped; what a poor excuse for a parent. Wonder what he has told his good church friends. Even some of them are probably wondering how he missed or twisted the teachings of the Bible.

The First Morning in Riverbend

Ahhh, but in many places a child of the family can work limited hours…as if choirs, helping out, so to speak. So you can’t hire or hard schedule the kid, but they can pitch in. Too funny. My young 9yo neighbor boy comes and goes somewhat freely at my place. It’s of a tight spaced subdivision but if warmer weather he frequently shows up barefoot. I made him a bacon, cheese, and two egg breakfast burrito for a school trip he wanted me to go as a parent/guardian. Well, he often comes over after school and tells about his day…until suddenly he asks for a breakfast burrito. 🤣 The kid has grow several inches since I started measuring him against my bedroom door jam. Comfort food…and he makes himself comfortable for sure. Oh, and he is learning to cook it himself when I can make time. -

I would have thought someone might give him a pointer to a community help program or soup kitchen of some type…church program perhaps, but he didn’t even get a donation…except the muffin that did indeed pull him through the first day. -

Finally. It took longer than I expected it would, but at least it happened and there is also someone younger that can maybe befriend and help keep him more balanced. -
The sad part being that daddy dearest refuses to check on his child, even knowing the weather is life-threatening; his phony religious pride is making him close to being a murderer, be at manslaughter or otherwise it’s still murder.
-
How could a parent be so callous with a child’s heart and safety. 🤦♂️ 🤷♂️ 😣
-
Yup, he kinda skipped over..judge not. So sad 😭, dad is ruining multiple lives; Kitt, Matt, for sure, but I think kitts mom may have some surprise words for Dadmien 😈. I would be surprised that she gives Matt money and a phone to gift Kitt. Hopefully Kitt is on the younger side of his grade, so dad can fume as he pays child support and possibly a college stipend.
-
I like your thoughts and your analysis of both boys. They know each other well, I think the night may be cold, wet, and long, but ultimately I think Kitt will have Matt there to support him.
-
Agreed, and I think they already know. I can’t imagine them not accepting Kitt, but they probably kept quiet because they know how Kitt’s father overlords the family.
-
Wake up call, if my Kitt is gay then maybe 🤔 that’s what I feel too…yup, I’m gay!
-
Most likely trying to live vicariously through Kitt; he was probably a C student, lucky to get a single B-

His Dad is an ass, I’d be in full revolt. I left my house and didn’t go back until after I left for college. I only came back for spring break…skipping winter break. By then dad had then told me he would really like it if I can back; actually came up to school to see me face to face. I was a very independent and a stubborn child once my tolerance was exceeded. He learned to treat me differently than he had with my brothers, but I was the youngest boy…and very stubborn with I put my mind to it.

They said they wanted to go back!

The Quiet Summer Before Everything Breaks
Philippe commented on Tony S.'s story chapter in The Quiet Summer Before Everything Breaks
The age and the environment are influential no doubt but despite school boy, and girl, boasting many kids haven’t rushed into dating or opening themselves up in such a private and vulnerable way. I know I was considered popular by many though I felt I had many acquaintances but few friends. Amongst those friends, there wasn’t anyone I felt I could trust with my closest secrets. I finally did trust one…but he was just a close friend but very much straight…as that conversation went. He was great, and didn’t make or let things get awkward. He even come up to visit me and my roommate lover at college; it was great that they were both comfortable doing things together. He friend had been sexually active for a few years before I became active; early sophomore for him, late senior for my one virgin voyage with a girl that had long been interested in high school. But then in college I finally found a god roommate and lover…we made up for lost opportunities as daily sex was standard, often spontaneous and in whatever room, but then nightly was the finale off the day.
