Sgt Kaplan has a tough job ahead, but I suspect Killian will be crossing paths more than previously experienced. Unfortunately, I feel the situation is going to be steering suspicions toward Jacy. However, I don’t have much faith or trust in Elyse Pike. Her disclosure of Killian’s true identity was delayed until she had the info she wanted…not before, and definitely not an immediate challenge; almost as if she was concerned of what Killian might know.
So logically, she found Prof Neely first as his assistant, but did she really have that closer relationship with him to be checking up on him in the early evening? She has a natural cover story for being there, but is that the real story?
Kaplan says they think they had the murder weapon, yet was the crime scene tampered with prior to Pike’s call for help? Where does this weapon originate and who could have had access to it? Conversely, was Neely’s time of death anywhere close to the time of seeing someone running away from the site? The timeline of Neely not answering versus the arrive of Elyse is of huge concern in my mind.
