Both Kris and Dean have some soul searching to do; not uncommon at their ages in life. How much of the parents’ burden, memories, and life to consider in your own life. Having grown up before the internet teachings and lure, I was a virgin until half way through senior year. The interactions with others seemed to imply more towards long term relationships that I wasn’t looking for, at least with the people that showed interest back towards me. Even in college the pacing was slow but an intense build. My roommate and love in college senior year was my roommate as we had found each other at the end of junior year. We slept together and had sex regularly…nightly if not more, but it was more oral than anything else. Well for all his frustrations, Jake has failed to look in the mirror. He just as easily could have asked Killian what’s going on. He’s saying no one cares, then says caring won’t change anything; so yes, maybe a bit of depression and as @RichardWritessays survivor’s guilt. He lost everything and everyone but was angry at the very person he could depend on, Aunt Judy. Now he’s in to deep, and it’s all Aunt Judy and Killian’s fault.
