    A well written review of a well written story. The setting may be a western but the story is universal. An excellent read.

    Hi Terry. Mum's fine, thanks. I was/am exhausted, two soldout days at renfaire will do that, and I have a headache. Spent a mostly quiet day so hope to feel more rested tomorrow.

    That would be me, if you could even get me to drink beer, don't like the stuff. Now cider or spirit based drinks ... still, alchohol makes me sleepy. Always has. As a kid when I was sick and needed to sleep my dad would dose me with a couple fingers of apricot brandy. I'd sleep soundly through the night.

    Sure, make me make the tough choice. However, since mum and I host a Thanksgiving dinner for friends and neighbors, and have for the last 50+ years, I'll have to cling to my integrity. Please thank the Empress Mama for her kind invite. She is such a nice lady.

    She was lucky. It seems there was a gap between the core and the outer bands where the weather was less severe. That is what passed over her. Heavier damage to the north and south.
