  4. G'day y'all. The morning has arrived with sunshine and humidity. Maybe just maybe the migraine has broken ...
  5. No, no, no ...
  6. And squash are fruits.
  7. A quick tug and voila ... a tug on his pants, geez people.
  8. Rob Perry a nosy meddler ... only on days that end in "y" ... and when he cares about someone. Nice glimpse into their afternoon.
  9. Wouldn't want it to be too easy to get him out of them.
  10. Hello Albert. I'm better than the past two days but not as well as I hoped. We took mum's neighbors to breakfast this morning. That's how we thank them for mowing her grass. They will not accept money so once a month she takes them out to breakfast. We took them to a place we discovered while we were on our mini vacation. It was very nice but I would have been better served staying home to rest. The easing of the migraine has stalled and I feel totally wiped out. Hope you and Steve are well. Sounds as if news of your fruit trees is better than you hoped. Are they in flower?
  11. Poor fella can't keep his pants up ...
  12. Mum is the same. She can't eat it either without it seeping from her skin and both her sisters have allergies to garlic.
  13. G'day y'all. Another sunny pleasant day. The migraine seems to be easing.
  14. Or those pants ...
  15. You mean you're not inviting @Drew Espinosa?
  16. You sound the the Emperor of Texas for Life, his Excellency @Drew Espinosa
  17. Just be glad it wasn't still doing the breaststroke ... Long enough to drown a spider.
  18. G'day y'all. The day has dawned sunny and bright with considerably cooler temps and less humidity. A lovely morning after a very blustery afternoon and evening. My head aches. It started mid-morning yesterday and has yet to ease. I think it's back to bed for me ...
  19. You could do your laundry on those washboards. Heck you could do my laundry too.

You had to know I would cry over Brad. Don't know what it is about him, maybe because he reminds me of the hopes and fears I felt when my own son was sent to war, but my heart wrenches with pain and pride whenever he appears. Would that all our wounded heros had the support he does. And yeah, the song fits. "Everhope" ... what other choice could it have been, that one word says everything.
  21. G'day y'all. Warm (70/21°) humid overcast morning. Rain and blustery winds in the forecast for later.
  22. Thanks Albert. It looks very much like him.
  23. I love that scruffy Dane.
  24. Hmmm, a little cabin in the woods.
  25. It was a nice day in Charleston, warm (85/29°) but there was a light breeze. We had a late breakfast at the place we always eat breakfast. Since it was nice we dined al fresco so Thistle could be with us. Then made a quick visit to the Battery. Watched a tall ship leave the harbor. Then because the sun was hot we wandered along several shady streets to take a round about route to the battery park where we found a shady bench to sit and relax. After that respite we again meandered in the shade along King St to the Market before I took Thistle back to the car for some cold water and the chance to rest. He had several opportunities to have a drink on our strolls as a large number of places put out bowls of water for visiting pups. Charleston is a very dog friendly place. WhileThistle rested mum and I had a late lunch at a favorite dining spot, Blossoms. It was nice to sit down in the a/c to relax and eat before heading back to Mum's. Wish y'all could have joined us but alas it wasn't meant to be.
