I think there was an Imperial Edict to that effect. However like most of those it was a wasted effort as not even the spiders pay any attention. They just stealthly creep around in the carpet waiting an opportunity to pounce.

Not my thing. I have alcoholics and substance abusers in both sides of my family. Not worth the risk. Though right about now some pain killers to deaden the migraine would be welcome.
