    Chapter 40

Now, was that supposed to be a surprise? The only surpise is the sneaking around. I am disappointed in our (hero?). Makes me think this may be what he was subconsiously looking for. Slut! more please

    Chapter 37

I have waited a long time (it seems) for this next installment. Thank you for rewarding my patience with perfection. Wow! What a dynamic chapter. Ok, I'll use one of the "stupid" emoticons. I only wish I could write like this. more please

    Never Mine

Ok, I lied. The more I thought about it the more intrigueing Khay became. Now, I am hooked. more please
  4. First; I am new to this site. Scanning through "favorite stories" I came across this title. Recognizing it from a favorites country song, I had to check it out. Was a little confused by the names. Somehow got the impression they were of ethic origins. As I read furhter, I decided they must be simply "clannish". Ok, by now you figured out I am not a good reader. Confusion aside. I liked the story. I would readily invest time in reading more from this protanganist point of view.
  5. Suspense! (from frostina's review) What the @##%%. do you mean it would be out the window? Good grief, an innocent man is in the clutches of a confessed killer. I have dealt with guys doing stuff that they had done for the first time. Trust me; that is an iffy proposition. Some adjust surprisingly well. Other's are rift with guilt and anguish. Some want to strike out. Some I outright dismissed as liars. Tyler is among those who are likely to strike out. Maybe not even after giving a bj, bottoming could be the straw. In any case he seems compelled; just as his "hostage". There is a lot, not being said.(there in lies the suspense). Who, what, where adn why. Tyler is a dispassionate killer. The murder, he desribes, was cold and calculated (an hour thinking about if he could do it). Texas will having him sucking on an IV, in no time. The games he plays with his lover/hostage would keep a shrink in consultations for three lifetimes. Bottom line: writemorepostfasterplease! Great Story! more please

    Afterwards

I got totally involved in this story. I refuse to consider what happened beyond the last paragraph. To me, this is a complet story. It echoes the ending of "The Body" by Stephen king or the movie from that novella, "Stand by Me". It is poignant. It left me wistful and yet with a complete sense of closure. Thank you so much, for sharing. More please

    Chapter 9

Sunday evening; they resumed their billiard competition. They had spent the day lounging around. John’s dad took them to dinner in town. The conversation was good, the food was good and the company was convivial. Back at the ranch they watched football. Afterward they discussed Christmas', past and present. Wylie spoke of Christmas with his grandmother. The memories seemed to come to him and out of him. He shared the tender memories of how they had shared the holidays. His eyes teared, m

Not sure how to translate that oohrah! Is that concerning the story in general or my "strong encouragements" to review?

    Chapter 7

I have (I think) corrected the spellcheck errors. I may have explained that Joe Don was to be a shadow character (no dialogue, no real presence,,, and then he evolved. He is a significant character in a possible spin-off, I am considering. If this is well received.) I debated the use of corpreal. Air Force and Navy here. Army (would never make that mistake). As to length; the present approaches.(did I even spell that right?) Thanks for the help.

    Chapter 6

What I see is an application for job as editor. Between word and onsite, you would think I could prevent those distracting errors. The sex scenes come at a quicker pace than say.... contemplation. Actually they are bits and pieces of memories. Albeit, very good ones.

    Chapter 2

The flashback will take us through John's life to the present. Some men never have an "Ah-ha" moment. I hope that the fury of the opening chapter and subsequent "present" experiences will lead to a "confident acceptance" and the promise of still more, better days.

    Gordy Comes Home

When it began, it was less complicated. We all find facets in our friends. As time goes by they become an integral part of that person's make-up. There were a number of beginnings; all leading to diffent stories. Once I began to polish this intro, I felt compelled to let it stand. I hope you find it to worthwhile. thanks for reading.

    Chapter 8

Into the third game they were tied. Billiards championship and appropriate bragging rights were on the line. They had dropped Joe Don off and finished shopping. By the time they returned to the ranch a light snow had begun to fall. Before dinner the ground was turning white and snow was falling much heavier. After dinner, Mr. Grant had gone to the library to work. John and Wylie had moved into the den to watch television. Becoming bored, Wylie challenged John to a game of pool. At the fi

    Chapter 7

Saturday came and with it a compressed work schedule. The two finished up shortly after nine. Showered and shaved they decided they should go to town and finish Christmas shopping. Even as they pulled into the dealership, men were smiling and waving hello. Before they could get out of the jeep, men were waiting to greet John. By the time they had walked in the “show room”, Wylie had shaken more than a half dozen hands. Wylie noticed the spacious showroom held tractors, ranging from pedal tra

    Chapter 16: Lost

First off: This chapter took toooo long to be posted. Not trusting my update notification, I have been checking back. So, thanks for posting. One of the aspects I have found so intrigueing about this story is Blake's internal struggles. Since first seeing Haze, in pain, He has been able to exert more self-control. We too often forget that compassion is a basic component of the human condition. Compassion for another, is a motivator to find strength within ourselves. I can relate. As to "kodak moments" regarding the looks on our faces; I would rather have a memorex tape of the internal shouts of damnation, coming your way. My expression didn't change. But, boy did I have a few "choice" phrases running through my mind. You can make ammends, to your fans, by posting the next chapter; SOON! more please

    Dropped

Ok, I started to post a review after I read this chapter. I mean, that's what you do, right? Then I read the review by Marzipan and resisted. I had good things to say, but I held off. It took my three days to finish. I put off doing other things. I got wrapped up in the story. I looked for chapters that might allow me to dislodge myself from the story. Something that would allow me to put it aside. It was not to be. This story was compelling from beginning to end. Rory's understanding and his lack of understanding of; his situation, his actions and reactions, were only too real. Wow! Thanks for the story. It was GREAT! more please
