That is one London Bridge that went crashing down.

Thanks for the comment. I get your point about Corbin letting Mike go because he hurt him so bad... I wish we had more context from Mike's point of view, but I will say we do get his reaction to what Corbin did to him coming up soon... whether they get past it or not is to be seen.

Thanks for the comment... more to come soon.

I think you're right about the homophobia bit, and Corbin has said as much to some of his pledge brothers before. Being gay in that hyper masculine world is complicated, and sometimes downright unpleasant. And the number of guys masked behind that masculinity harboring their own secrets and feelings is hypocrisy at its best... and rife for writitng a story like this! Corbin will make some people cry again, don't worry about that.

I'll try to answer as much as I can. If I miss something, let me know. i think Corbin is certainly capable of being committed, and wants that for himself. How badly at that age is up for debate, but a 'partner' is definitely part of his plan. The dean isn't required to show up, but like someone ommented below, it makes for a bad look if she doesn't in a case like this. Not all frat trials would involve a dean, most wouldn't. And fraternity trials in and of themselves are pretty rare. In my four years in school, I only participated in 2. The other thing is, the dean and Corbin have a unique relationship, so there's no doubt she'd show up for him. Your last question is a very good one... I won't say that anyone I knew in school has stumbled across the story, but I won't say it hasn't happened. That's why names and the setting has been changed (but if you went to the actual school, you'd know...). AS you get older, the rules become murkier... my pledgeclass all know I plan to write a legit book about our pledgeship one day... what can they do? Haze me again?

“Hutch, do you have any more witnesses?” It took my pledge brother a minute, until he finally said that they wanted to speak with Alexandria, the editor-in-chief of The Founder newspaper. This was pretty much the only person besides David I anticipated that they would call. I was actually disappointed in them for setting their own trap here, but ultimately with the Mike surprise, I still felt like they were winning. Even with Alex coming up, I had my work cut out for me. While we waited fo

The Interrogation of Michael Anthony Loggerman, Cadet
Jwolf commented on Jwolf's story chapter in The Interrogation of Michael Anthony Loggerman, Cadet
Did you read my mind or do you just, ar this point, know what to expect from Corbin? I’m currently working on the moment (and I don’t think this is a spoiler because it’s been brought up before) that Ben enters dhe presidential group chat, so to speak. -

You are spot on. And yeah not the easiest chapter, but we’re in the territory where everything, even the light stuff, Carrie’s some weight. -

Oh man. Thank you so so much! More coming very soon. -
I could definitely see him playing Lee. You’re exceptional at this.

Even if this is a slice of life type of story, which I’ve said it basically is, there is a fascination with who will win this particular chapter in his life. Even if we get sequels or prequels or whatever there will be baked in a closure of who wins Corbin in this era. Hope that makes sense. -

I appreciate you commenting. We’re in the final stretch of the story, so it’ll be interesting to see how your thoughts evolve. -

More to come soon… every 2 weeks or so. If it’s going to be longer then that, I’ll personally let you know. Can’t have you out here wearing down your refresh button. -

Thanks! I’ll answer how I always do. Basically autobiographical with some embellishments for color. I will say some portions are indeed difficult to get through. It’s why I’ve taken so many breaks TBH. As is life, ups, downs, and everything’s in between. -

I’m glad someone made this comment. Corbin may be evolving, but fire and brimstone Corbin is never far from the surface. Hoping you enjoy how he reacts to all of this. -

Yeah, Corbin is definitely down, but in my opinion as a writer at least, he’s best when he’s playing from behind. He certainly is here. No doubt he has a strategy, but the Mike thing was a big blow. At the end he made the decision to fight, and I wouldn’t underestimate a wounded Corbin. -

I don’t necessarily disagree, but couldn’t the opposite be said? Shouldn’t he be allowed to have a persona outside of his relationships? He’s been navigating solo on campus for 3 years, and sure he’s now got options to share that with someone, but does that automatically jump them up in his priorities? Just some food for thought, not disagreeing. -

A lot of Corbin’s strategy is just that… enough doubt to confuse the underclass men. I don’t want to be too referential here, but someone commented when they got this chapter that it felt like Olivia Pope would handle Corbin’s case. We’ll see if it works for him. -

Thank you! -
As the interrogation of Michael Anthony Loggerman began, I was powerless to do anything about it. I knew from the second they began interrogating him that I was in a world of hurt. My mind raced, trying my hardest to come up with a solution, but instead of formulating one, I sat there and listened. Catching every word. Unable to breathe. Only listen, and do everything I could not to cry right there, out in the open, in front of my entire brotherhood and the guy who had helped me weather this sto

The Trial Of Corbin M Crowley
Jwolf commented on Jwolf's story chapter in The Trial Of Corbin M Crowley
Everyone who isn’t a brother is blindfolded as the meeting takes place in formal chapter, which is in a secret room. Every house had one, and it was kind of fun to try and figure out where a house could stash a secret room. Even the pledges would be blindfolded to enter and exit -
The Trial Of Corbin M Crowley

Corbin tends to find himself out of tricky situations, but this is the real deal. And pulling Mike wouldn’t be hard with his commanding officer’s help. The same one Dom would have boned him to.
