    Chapter 62

Well that was certainly a lot more than I had thought. Kinda glad I was wrong. This is much more interesting.
  2. Al Norris

    Chapter 60

I'm likely wrong but my gut tells me that Alexandra knows and has threatened to expose the Senator.
  3. Al Norris

    Chapter 15

It's been around a lot longer than that, my friend.

    Chapter 32

Sorry to say, but your reactions (or evaluations) are divorced from reality. Hooking up with someone else to get even or get revenge is immature and selfish. Yet it is also a normal human reaction and should surprise no one. Your observations to what is everyone else's everyday reactions are contrary to reality, especially teens and young men. That's all I'm saying.

    Chapter 49

Not entirely. If Brad had taken his pants down, he would have fucked Wade... We all know that. Glad he resisted. Let's be honest here, shall we? You blame everyone!

    Chapter 16

It's actually worse than being stranded overnight in heavy seas. The boat is at the mercy of the currents. More often than not, the boat will be positioned so that the waves will come at the boat and hit it broadsides. A large enough wave will capsize the boat. That is the danger.

    Chapter 16

Oh boy! This may not be good. A boat without power on the open seas is at the mercy of the elements. They are in a storm with heavy seas and they may be stranded. This is not a situation any sailor wants to be!

    Chapter 15

Quick! Hide the carving knives and the scissors!

    Chapter 42 S2

Not gonna happen. I no longer heal as fast as I once did. For this arm, at least, it's as good as it's gonna get. It's just a part of getting old. But I thank you for the hugs anyway!

    Chapter 42 S2

Isn't getting old so wonderful? Oh! It was a good thing I am left-handed!!!

    Chapter 42 S2

Bill, way back in '97, I stretched the ligaments of my rotator cup to my right arm. The doctor said it would have been better to have torn them, but I didn't understand. I ended up in a sling for a month. The pain was almost unbearable for about 3 months. I could not sleep on my back or my right side. This lasted for about 15 years. I still cannot sleep on my back. If I try, it hurts after about an hour. I still do not have a full range of motion in my right arm.

    Chapter 9

That has been the most pressing issue I want to know!

    Chapter 7

Robbie has seen David for some time now. Currently David has validated what Brad is doing and should have been point-blank with Robbie about the whys and wherefores. If David hasn't, Robbie is seeing the wrong therapist. Otherwise, Robbie is ignoring the therapist.

    Chapter 6

Robbie has forgotten that Brad has the same libido as Stef... Once it awakens, and I think it has.

    Chapter 5

I'm sure you see it that way but many others won't. College twinks who want to be hit upon are fair game. Especially if they hit back! LOL
  16. Al Norris

    Chapter 3

Once again I'm in full agreement with @PrivateTim.
  17. Al Norris

    Chapter 2

From Chapter 1: So this chapter didn't surprise me. I'm more like Brad. I would have reacted in much the same manner. Hey! For once I totally agree with you.

    Chapter 20

Besides what others have said about this story, there is another truth that no one has mentioned. Somehow, knowingly or not, @Mark Arbour has subtlety wound that truth in this tale. War changes you. Whether you were a veteran or a civilian. It changes you. Combat changes you even more. For all the bravado we use, combat veterans were changed for the worse. Many who went to war, whether as combat troops or not, have come back seemingly unscathed. Others come home but have left a part of themselves back where they were. Most of the time, merely looking at them, you will never know which ones they are.

    Chapter 18

Love doesn't die if you remember.
  20. Al Norris

    Chapter 15

Yes, it won't be very nice if they end up on the reefs, in either case.
  21. Al Norris

    Chapter 16

On one level, this is really a sad tale since I know that Steven dies in the war and that Arron either dies or comes home and moves away, forever. I think Aaron dies, but I'm not sure as I didn't read all the comments in the preceding stories. On another level, it is great to read some of the history of these multi-faceted families. On yet another level, @Mark Arbour's writing is increasingly skilled. I love the way he can provide the emotions of these characters and bring us along with them.

    Chapter 12

So... This is how and why Old Man Hayes turned into an alcoholic. He beat his wife for signing the consent form. It turned him mean.
  23. Al Norris

    Chapter 15

I don't see this going well. Ben is curious and has set his eyes on Justin. Justin is just as young and hasn't had the sexual encounters that many young gay teens generally have. Judging by the sea action, we have another sort of storm brewing.
  24. Al Norris

    Chapter 11

I joined the Marines at the end of my Jr. year of High School. I was 17. Unlike many, I wanted to go. I knew I would be sent to Vietnam. I knew I most likely would die there. That's what I wanted.
  25. Al Norris

    Chapter 10

IIRC, didn't one of the earlier stories tell of the one Hayes boy that was doing real well, but was also killed in the war?
