    @Sherye Story Reader, I understood what you meant. Dang fingers! They don't always cooperate with what the brain tells them to do! I also know a few people who aren't happy if they can't find something wrong with the people and/or the situation.

    So we have a bit of intrigue here. I'm wondering why Patty doesn't like Granpa. There's a reason that Dave knows, but not a reason that should be spoken of on the phone. All sorts of thoughts come into my mind, about that! Colton and Dylan seem to be getting along in building their relationship... Or at least seeing if there is something there to be built. Then Dominic gets schooled about adult privacy. I think he understands, but only time will tell.

    I'm enjoying all the speculation, folks. Our editing team has just finished with Sands 14 and Crags 18. So I can't say much without giving things away.

    It is good to see that Dylan and Colton are taking things slow. All too often people jump right into full-on sex. That rarely results in a well-defined relationship. I have always found it rather funny how we Americans have viewed nudity and how most of the rest of the world looks at it as something natural. We are so inculcated into the Puritan mindset! Perhaps there is hope for both Dylan and Dominic.

    Generally, this sorta stuff happens in prison, not the county lock-up. People don't go to prison if they have yet to be tried. Regardless, it's always nice to see Karma fly in and set things right.

    If'n ya go back and reread that section, I believe you will see that the Green was shifted into a Lizardman. To the Dragons (Trues and Greats), any being other than a Dragon is a lower being. In that respect, a dragonling is lower on the totem pole.

    Lots of speculation there! Some of it may happen and some of it may not. Or Xavier and company may do something entirely different. At this point in time, any crossover is just that, speculation. Don't let me stop you from doing that, however. It may just spark something in Roland's imagination!

    As I read that, I envisioned that it was in fact, plain-clothes detectives. Even if that wasn't the case, you have to admit that criminals, by their very nature, aren't the brightest bulbs in the store!

    Fantastic! Couldn't have happened to a nicer couple of guys! 🤢 (please note the sarcasm) I hope Gary suffered no more than being filmed as he got naked. Good thing Mark didn't get involved. A better thing was that Dominic recognized what was going on and it stopped right there.

    While I realize that the Hippocratic Oath is no longer given in all countries or even Universities, as well as there are several versions of the Oath (many 'modern' versions have been made), The above quote is indicative of a Doctor that I cannot trust. This, regardless of my sexuality or societal status. I'm thrilled that the Ward Sister booted him off her floor! I also hope that this man is 'struck off.' No remorse, no second chance. When a Doctor decides that there are classes of people that he will refuse to help, he is in the wrong field. Full Stop.

    Regardless of what we expect, not every story has a HEA ending. Being human, there will always be decisions made that will affect us in ways we don't always foresee. Nice ending, Lee.

    I'm another one who came away needing a tissue or three... I don't remember who said what to get my attention but I started reading and I am hooked. What got to me in this chapter was an older friend who lost his wife. I knew the look in his eyes. He died six months to the day that Doris died.

    You are so close, yet so far away! There are things about the dreams that give it all away. Being used to editing for Kyle, I guess I've gotten used to how and what he does with his story. I say that because I got what happened when I first edited this chapter. 🤐
