You seem to join the other readers I have Defiance. No matter how long or short people seem to want more. I wish I could claim the abilities of some of the authors here who see the novel as their forte. My own talents lie in the short story form. Sometimes I venture from it, but it is where my interest lies. Glad I can draw you into it.

I was an English major. I have multiple copies of mythology and fairy tales. Was something that catches my interest. You might enjoy the Pandora's box Anthology. Thanks for the review.

I got the idea when I really considered the topic. I have to give credit to Adi, cause he kept asking for more and I listen to what my betas have to say. I kept expanding it to fit what he was requesting and the end result is what you see. I don't know if I will come back to this, but I am glad it struck a chord in you.

I'm glad this made an impact on you. I just wanted Gabe to deal with people, do his best to help them, and still find life at a crappy job better than life in a business world. The choices he makes are always for others.

Thank you Gary. For the setting it is really just spots around Long Island. I always try to make sure my stories hold enough real world, so the magical world doesn't lose them. Glad you enjoyed it.

I'm glad you enjoyed it AC. I know most people are simply familiar with the idea of the mermaid, but the merman was also something to play around with. I never like to do what people expect. No tempter is my Triton, instead he gives options. Unfortunately, I always seem to leave the door open and my readers want more. lol.
