You have seen the list of items people have asked for. Fire was about the only one listed being able to think and speak. Problem is when you request something with a mind of its own, it might not exactly want you. For Jonas, he never even thought of owning Fire, but she likes and wants him.

We should never forget those who have come before us. I've only read one work by GhostRyder but now I have a sad reason to read more. He was one of the early ones to blaze a trail here at GA. May his family and friends take comfort in their memories as we take comfort in the stories he has left behind. Rest in peace.

I have so many stories of my own I haven't even begun to finish. I don't even want to think of another major story till I am done with Jonas and all the beta work I have.

Glad you liked it. I have a tendency to do the mundane even in the fantastic. I mean, dishes have to be cleaned, clothes washed, and everything else. So it usually allows everyone a way into the story.

I am glad you are enjoying the story so far. Fire was in my notes for the original but I was afraid of making the Anthology story far too long. Good thing I keep my notes. She has some fun before the story is over.

Jonas lives in the mundane world, but the life around him is anything but. Besides, he might be getting this artifacts for the customers, but he has no idea what the original owners did with them first. Glad you are enjoying it.

Happy Easter everyone. My day has been a bit odd. Originally was planning on having a ham for Easter. Had dug through the recipes and found my mother's recipe for her sweet gravy for ham. Dad had gone out on Thursday to get the ham. When he came home it was with a turkey breast. Guess what I made today? I went and dug out all my needed seasonings and spices for the stuffing to go with the turkey only to find i had no Thyme. Finding an open store was an adventure but as I finally pulled up at home my father called to tell me he had found the Thyme. Evidently he had moved it from its normal spot on the spice rack and put away in another cabinet. Oh well. I've got a turkey in the oven, stuffing made, and deviled eggs chilled. (My deviled eggs are made with bacon. So good, even if I do say so myself.) I have cranberry sauce in the fridge and am debating making up my mother's dill weed dip for snacking later. So while not everything goes as you might have hoped, you do eventually find things to focus on and move on. Enjoy everyone.

I've been in a rotten mood the last few days. I guess that is an understatement. For anyone who knows me, they know I have grown to really hate retail and wanted to get back to teaching. Funny, but occasionally you are willing to do a lot for someone else that you wouldn't normally think of doing for yourself. It is what happened for me. I had been working like mad to find a way to be closer to someone I had fallen for and was even applying to teach English in another country. Lets just say when the truth is finally spoken it can be devastating. I just had removed my name from the list only to get the mail last night telling me the list of things required, because they had offered me the job. Horrifying cause I would go there to teach now no matter what. It would be far too painful. Anyway over the eating bit finally. I am one of those who, when they are stressed, eats everything in sight. Just will take the time to mend and then try to begin again.

Actually she missed one from the signature, so we still had our stuff done. I posted a new poem this week.

After the ring I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I nearly lost my breakfast when I opened the next package. I had arranged the smaller packages so that they sat on my desk. There was this really dirty canvas bag that was about the size of football. I think Mat seen Marna for who she was from the get go. He watched her and liked what he saw. I believe he was honest when he told her that he wasn't a consolation prize. Marna I am sure will be making it up to him for a long time. Billus was now free to after his love as well, but I don't see Matius being able to give up everything for his brother's happiness. For him, he was able to get what he wanted because he was willing to wait.
