Really was more showing how his visions get him into trouble but might also be helping people around him. Just seems to be part of his calling as a Seer.

Yeah this first chapter is a bit of blood feast but it was fun. It was just supposed to be a Halloween story like I do every year, but seems the character had more to say yet.

I sat in the corner of my couch, breathing in the heavenly aroma of my morning coffee and waiting for the phone to ring. True, as long as you link your prompts in the thread you will find you have many readers. A lot people will read the prompts when they won't read much else. It is also a safe way to "get your feet wet" when trying out different styles of writing. Glad you are enjoying the prompts. Wayne

Hi All, I just wanted people to know I am still working on things. Jonas is down to his last two chapters and I am working hard on finishing them up. I also picked up Seeon and have the first of three chapters done to finish that story up. To add to my stuff, I do have a new chapter coming on a story called A Day in the Life of a Seer. That doesn't include the anthology story I am working on for the upcoming Roadtrip Anthology about the characters from Accidents Happen. The good thing about it is the fact you never have had to read the original, but it will stand on its own, but if you have it just means you will know what is happening in it more intimately. Wayne PS - Now that everything is nearly done any other thing I have forgotten to finish that you as my reader want?

You had a lot going on in this story and I enjoyed it. I am a sucker for anyone who has a dog and keeps them close. Oli and Ruff were truly sweet. You feel for poor Boris whose life hasn't been an easy one. You root for both of them. Oliver's father leaves a lot to be desired. I find very little redeeming in him, and while he might have tried to bridge the space with the bed and keeping his son's first drawing, it seems so small against all the pain he inflicted on his son growing up. Andrea, his mother, should be up for sainthood. It was a truly interesting story and new take on werewolves for me. Nicely done Sasha.

Only time will tell.

Chapter 9 is done with the beta and on to the editor.

Seeon's father wants the technology that the rest of the world enjoys. He lives in a mostly isolated part of the country but when he sees what the rest of the world has, he wants it, whether he is ready for that or not.

But where is the fun in that?

Just felt I haven't said much in a while. Time for a bit of an update. I have been dealing with dad. He isn't fully recovered and I guess this is my new reality with him. Life isn't exactly as it was, but at least it isn't as bad as it could be. He is about 90% back to normal. Balance is slightly off and he has mood swings. Part of what he is like now. My own health is all over the place. The doctor wants me to go for some tests. Not sure for what now but always not a good sign. I'm writing and grinding out work lately. Nearly done with Jonas after what feels like forever. Have one and half chapters of the end of Seeon done. Just trying to find a beta for that one. Wish me luck. Otherwise life goes on. I am happy to see spring arrive. I am trying to keep up with the prompts and offer people something new. On my friend watch there are some painful things going on. One friend basically lost his job and is now in danger of losing his home. Another has lost a close friend and is still reeling from it. A third is becoming a father, is facing a lot of turmoil, and is afraid he isn't a good person. I wish I could help them all but all I can do is listen and be there for them if they need an ear. That isn't always easy. I like to help out, but not in a position where I really can. Not much else I can say. For the rest I hope your spring is a peaceful and good one.

It will be completed. I am not leaving anything unfinished.

Well it ended up being more than one chapter but just waiting to find a new beta and editor.

Seems everyone is finding Seeon. I have written more at the request of so many. Now I am just waiting on finding a new beta and editor to finish this.

Jonas said there were some really strange requests for romance. You have all sorts of people from every walk of fantasy and science fiction showing up. Some you might immediately guess and others you might just hope you never meet on a dark street, Cele.

Denni, Thanks for letting me know I am still surprising my readers. When I write it is a solitary project where you hope your ideas and imagination will help excite your reader and keep their interest. Nice to know I am succeeding.

W.E. you aren't the first reader who has told me they read my work all in one sitting. It isn't hard with my shorter works but once I get going on the longer ones, look out. Glad you are still with me. I hope to have the next chapter out soon.
