Great characters deserve a long life. It's okay to end the book at 40 or 50 chapters as long as there is a book 2. After all, we need to know what happens senior year and college. What happens in the election? Does Corey's mom runs against CJ's dad. Or perhaps Jenny? Most important, we need to know what happens to Trouble.
