Acid07, I submit this for your consideration with respect. This is not intended as an attack on you, but rather as constructive thoughts.
While I suspect your comment was intended to be praise, the part quoted above is damning praise. I get that we appreciate different content, but also please keep in mind that the authors work hard to write their stories and then post them, opening up their world(s) to us. Let's support these authors, praise them for what we like and when we find story line aspects we may not appreciate, just not bring them up, as others will certainly appreciate them. Constructive criticism may be appreciated, but that depends upon the author and perhaps may be best left to structure/spelling rather than content, It would be unfortunate if any authors feel pressured to change their story just because some don't like specific content. There are hundreds of story lines on gayauthors.org, some of which will likely meet your criteria. In the worst case, as readers, we have the choice not to continue to read or we can skip scenes that don't interest us but continue on with the story after those scenes have closed.
If an author chooses not to (continue to) publish due to one or a few critiques, many (hundreds) of us would not have the pleasure of escaping into the authors world due to those few critiques. That is not fair to the author or to other readers who do appreciate all aspects of their stories.
Thank you!
