thanks for sharing the experiences of 'Nick' many know people who have been disowned - often by the most religious groups which typically preach acceptance - by friends and family. i'm aware many judge by skin, ethnicity, size and much more, though it makes me sick. i hope 'Nick' is pleased with the reconciliation and is due to changes they made to their person, not changes 'Nick' made. lots of nuances in change and group interaction - i'm only addressing 'Nick's' orientation, not other aspects. thanks - always a good day when a new posting from geoff/flyOnTheWall 🙂

After tsukihana's stories, not much to discuss besides semantics..... so while I fall more on the 'reckless' side (as we may be before realizing we are in love) than dr.paladin's 'foolhard' stand, i have similar concerns about the trip to Kaoru's hotel. so much said in so few words - thanks for sharing your world's, tsukihana!

Simon's so fortunate to have Niki in his life. I hope Rosie can turn around and be the support Simon needs - and deserves - from his mum. Thankfully parenting is not restricted to blood relations. such a distressing - and important - story to tell. thank you for sharing

weak?? sounds like something marverick would say, just to get a rise, while knowing it's just the opposite! really, you need to re-read this chapter. this is the stuff of emotions and real life for some many gay kids. it's unfortunately unusual jon is so accepting, though nice to see a preacher still claiming their god created each individual person as they are, not as parents hope them to be!

i must agree that cemeteries (I assume) are horrible places though can appreciate why they exist and people visit. thank you for sharing a memory that was both difficult to read and impossible to stop reading.
