I feel I have to weigh in here and say that As a geek, CJ has done an excellent job of writing those pieces out. One of the things I get praised on is speaking/explaining at the person's level of understanding and I've not had to make changes to anything he's put in here. Yes, Bondwriter, there are geeks who can speak in every day language and convey what needs to be explained to the 'common man'. CJ, non-geek that he is, does an superb job of writing it out as well... :fire:

I'm sure that if he really put his mind to it, he could churn out the whole story, but we'd be taking up a collection to support him. Besides, it wouldn't be the same story as this one. He's pointed out previously that different posts have sparked ideas that appeared in the story. Writing in a vacuum, that germination / cross-pollination wouldn't be possible.

Wading in on the 'plausible' factor: Having someone you've fantasized about appear in the flesh is quite a draw. Nightclubs pay for porn star appearances because it draws a crowd. Having two people in their tiny hometown may be a little stretch, but two in the biggest mall in Phoenix - not a problem. And I didn't get there was anything on the website to indicate the featured participants were NOT aware they were being filmed. In this day and age of voyeuristic TV, and even more common - live Internet websites, viewers can easily assume those they are watching KNOW they are being watched but are acting like they aren't to produce a more 'natural' show. That's my two cents... :graduated:

Thankfully, the day was a quiet one - the mail server was off-line all day (not my problem) but the phone worked... guess people are working on their taxes or something 'cause nobody bugged me at work and after I sent CJ his chapter, I got BW's chapters turned around too so its on to CJ's chapters next - unless DK wants to drop DOF my way Oh, and Bondwriter, I didn't take offense at your nudge. I was just being cantankerous this morning...

Look at that... an hour and a half and its headed for CJ's mailbox. Now if the rest of the day will be as quiet as this morning, I can turn BW's chapters and get started on the new FTL chapters CJ sent me.

OK OK OK - I'll take the hint and stop trolling the forums. The problem, of course, is that I need 'quiet time' to go through the chapter and the weekend wasn't any where in the vacinity of the definition of quiet time...
