1. Definately weird. Poor chicken =/ I dont really get why they protested at that event though...sport not masculine enough?!
2. Divers are fat? *curls up in corner* If that guy is fat...
3. eheheheheheheh Thanks Spain, for avenging us!
4. While I'm quite happy with public transportation in Germany it still has quite some issues. I mainly use the train to get from Berlin to my relatives in east germany and it's really sad to see the state of the trainstations. I actually had to wait for a train to stop so I could use a bathroom when I was waiting for my aunt to pick me up because the restrooms where boarded shut, lol. The public transport network here in southern sweden is awesome! I can get anywhere easily by bus or train from the little town I live in and transport is, mostly, on time. They do however suck really hard at crisis management, but then again I think thats a Swedish national trait. Not everybody can be as efficient as we germans. *cough*
5. Well he's a damn cute underwear salesman
6. Lucky my father is stuck on a norwegian airport, means I didnt have to hear the curses all evening Going to collect the cash he owes me though, hehe.
7. Germans cant deal with the award winning acting, throws em off their game.
8. Who cares about the sports when there's men in Speedos and other interesting sportsgear to watch? Atleast we men are honest and admit we are oogling, unlike you womanfolk who pretend otherwise.
9. *starts preparing the Voodoo dolls* Germany MUST win!!!
10. Just love the flashmob thing ^^
11. The gameplay itself is way to important for a game to be ignored. People dont like bad UI's or confusing menus. I think consider the way all the aspects mentioned in the thread are merged into one to be the artform. Take Mass Effect for example, there are unique characters all with their own set of beliefs, stories and goals. There's a complex universe with tons of dark little secrets and the looming threat of something unknown. There's a golden globe nominated composer adding tracks that made me tear up (the scene with Legion and Tali if you made peace between the races in ME3) and easy UI etc etc. The progress through the game was awesome, it felt as if somebody had merged my favorite FPS with a first class RPG, spiced it with awesome music and tucked in all the little bits of curiosa (codex FTW!!!). That Ladies and Gentlemen is ART!
12. Lucky your a Zerg and mindless then, you cant feel fear
13. lol totally misread the topic. I'm gonna go for Brokeback Mountain, mainly because I'm not really a movie person and havent seen much else.
14. No hating the Belfs!
15. Pfft more like, they watched Italians play. They go down in droves as soon as the wind picks up.
16. Ooooh I love accents, especially a french one. It's always funny when I visit family DEEP in eastern germany and spend 2 days nodding randomly because I cant understand them before picking up on the accent again. Central Sweden is also an interesting place since there the accents differ from town to town in some areas and are almost completely incomprehensible to the uninitiated...like the german immigrant trying to hold a conversation with a friends grandmother...I honestly think she thought I was mentally challenged or something.
17. Of course video games are art! We consider movies, books, paintings and music to be art so why would a product that merges all of that into one be something else? The debate should be about the quality of the art not about wether or not a game is art...
18. Lol the Gemini was scary to read...was dead on for the most part:o
19. D3 was a huge letdown in my opinion, really not on par with what you usually expect from Blizzard. Probably would have been more fun if normal mode was harder and the story a bit better. RUnning through 50% of the game (normal + nightmare) only to then suddenly hit a brick wall is just...crap
20. Running through normal is fast, you can probably do it in a few hours of your not OCD about exploring everything (like I am), nightmare isnt much harder, but hell act 2 is a bitch -.-
21. Im not really following it anymore, but I do watch on occasion. And since I'm german there's really only Sebastian Vettel to root for (helps that he isnt exactly hard on the eyes:P).
22. Yeah the Swedes are pretty to look at, but are they really a tourney team? I wonder I wonder
23. We can not claim to hold human life sacroscant and then turn around and order one terminated, its hypocrisy of the highest order in my opinion. Just as we wont tolerate somebody running about killing people, our justice system shouldnt be deciding to end somebodies life either. Yes there are some extremely bad people around that we all agree we might be better off without, but what about THEIR stories? What led them to become what they are, did we as a society miss any signs, could we have helped?
24. Who cares who wins, there's fit, sweaty, sparsely clad men running about! That said my genetic heritage makes it impossible for me to NOT support Germany.
25. Loved that performance! The girl, Ivy, proceeded to win btw^^
