This is a good question and one I've never really understood myself being a woman. All of those things up there that you can and cannot stay never really made sense to me because I've been much more upfront about the way I conduct myself. However, I've found that this is an issue with a lot of people: women and men. While it's more prominent to upset a woman when saying certain things, I've met more than enough men who react the exact same way when you say one thing and they think another. In my experience, it seems to be just as big of an issue with certain menfolk as it is with women. I will continue to ask people to be direct with me and I hope they continue to expect I will be direct with them as well. 'Cause that's how I roll, baby.

The only MMO I played a lot was Ragnarok back in the day. I couldn't jump on the bandwagon of Eve or WoW. They just don't appeal to me.

W_L I'm pretty sure Connor has the hidden blade, plus the tomahawk and two pistols if I remember correctly. I'm not entirely sure what weapons he will have at any given time, but from this picture it looks like those three with the addition of a bow and arrows and a rifle. I know from a picture in my Game Informer that he did have the hidden blade, but I guess we'll have to wait and see if that's the case. I don't know why he wouldn't have it. That seemed to be the assassin's trademark weapon. I am insanely excited for its release October 30th of this year. It's not too far away! Only seven more months... D:

Since there is some discussion about the AC series and its upcoming third "major" installment, I thought I would make a new thread specifically for the franchise. Let's continue discussing the game here.

This is a good life lesson. I'll keep this in mind and possibly break it out once I start teaching if the opportunity presents itself.

Oh crap! I used to play the heck out of the first game when I was in middle school. I remember having fun with it and this is kind of a good deal. I'll have to do some thinking about it, though. I'm pretty frugal and I have to be able to justify a game I'm buying; especially if it has replay value. Thanks for the heads up!

Despite this being a rumor for now, I am not terribly happy with it. I can tell you right now there will probably be some sort of backlash if it were to happen because of a few factors; not to mention just how expensive new games are and how bad the economy is right now. I know this won't be for another two years at least, but the major publishers really need to think long and hard about this. It could very well backfire and we could go the way of piracy, emulating, etc. People do crazy things to get free shit.

It's really good to see someone in the industry acknowledging that heterosexuality is not the only aspect of sexuality out there. Now, if we could only get a major publisher to start embracing that and putting those characters in the forefront... I have hopes for the future!

I don't know about the other members here, but I am definitely open to constructive criticism. I am always asking my readers to leave comments--good or not so good (in the way of any criticism; of course, in a constructive manner). It's a shame when an author wants to better themselves but will not accept any negative commenting, simply because that is a very good way to grow. I really wish more readers would be open to letting me and other authors know what they're doing right AND what they could improve on, but that's not something I can control. I will, however, continue to ask for that constructive criticism for my own benefit. If readers are willing to give me that, I am lucky to hear it.

If they perfected (or at least bettered) the response time to your movement, I think it could do great things. That will be a tough one; however, I am quite sure there are developers out there looking to do just that. Who knows? Maybe in 5 years we'll see something amazing.

I was never a huge fan of interactive video games, mainly because the technology is not as interactive as I'd like it to be. I don't think it will be for a long time either; at least not available to the public anyway. Some of them can be fun like the sports games on Wii, but I haven't played anything on Kinect or Move.

My favorites are action-adventure, rpg and survival-horror. I got hooked on games like Final Fantasy, Xenogears, Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Assassin's Creed and Uncharted. Although I did play a lot of platform and simulation when I was younger, I sort of veered off into those genre as I got older.

Pretty self explanatory. What is your favorite genre of video game?

I have hope that Ubisoft will connect Desmond's story to the current location of the majority of the game (America). It makes sense, after all. They would have to eventually come to America since that's where Desmond hails from. I think it goes without saying that his ancestors migrated here and have history here. I believe Connor's dad was English and his mother was Native American, but don't take my word for it. I'm still terribly interested! As for Uncharted 4? I kind of hope they don't come out with another one. As much as I adore and love the shit out of that series (it's one of my absolute favorites), unless they can keep it up to par on the awesomeness that was 2 and 3, I'd rather they just focus on something else like The Last of Us, which I'm excited to play as well. Perhaps it's time they set Uncharted aside--I can't believe I'm saying that(<3Drake)--and move onto bigger, better things. I'dstillbuyUncharted4.

This has been an infamous question and the source for many arguments between gamers for some time. Now that technology is becoming more advanced, many software corporations are having to constantly one-up each other to maintain sales, popularity and the like. I've included a poll here so I want to get your guy's opinions on this. Which console do you prefer to play video games on? My choice is usually Playstation 3, but I have so many consoles that it doesn't really matter. xD

I used to do that in The Sims. I wasn't much for actually playing my sims lives, but rather being the architect and building things. I would download custom files to make my houses look awesome, and then I would build a tiny closet with no windows or doors--nothing, basically and then watch them die. I should do more of that kind of stuff in SimCity 4. I hate to say it, but the game is getting a little tiresome now.

Oregon Trail was a very fun game to play! I remember moving from California to Oregon in middle school and we would go to the computer lab and play that game for computer time. It was the bomb and I still play it sometimes when I can find online hosts.

I played a lot of Sim City 2k-3k when I was in middle school and graduated to SimCity 4, of course. I was really big on The Sims/Sims 2 as well, but not so much Sims 3.

This is a huge, huge, huge one for me considering they'll be tying up Desmond's loose ends. It's really funny, though, that people are already speculating where the next one will take place. Milking the cash cow for everything it's worth and then some, much?

I'm not a big PC gamer myself, but I do play one every once and a while. What are the PC games you enjoy? I guess the one I play the most is SimCity 4 Deluxe. I was ecstatic to hear that Maxis will be releasing the fifth installment in 2013. It seems like a long ways away so this will definitely be a test of my patience. D:
