  1. Sunday was overcast and a little cooler than the last couple of days. I welcomed the drop in temperature and even a few clouds, which meant that I could leave my sunglasses behind, as I went outside to help tackle an overgrown garden. My contribution wasn’t voluntary, but I didn’t complain either after being pressganged by Don and assigned to help Daniel cut the grass. Although I no longer felt guilty for accepting their hard-earned cash in a healthy allowance each week, I was still able to unde
  2. Thank you, Butcher. Rory is certainly a front runner for boy x and Robbie seems to be convinced that he's gay. You're quite right about Robbie digging a hole for himself, and unfortunately for him, this is something that he excels at.
  3. Thank you for your review Butcher, and for joining the story. I hope that it lives up to your expectations and that you are able to find time to voice your opinions on any of the characters or anything in the story that you feel strongly about. As you probably know, reviews are always noted and can often influence and shape future chapters.
  4. Thank you for your review and loyal support. The popular opinion seems to be that Robbie made a mistake by lying to Rory, who is often undervalued by those around him, especially Robbie, who could have and should have asked Rory if it was okay, before using him as cover for his romantic night with Nathan. Nicola has been a thorn in Robbie's side from day one, but this was the first time that he has actually lashed out at her, although all he did was to push her off her stool, she may think twice before hitting him in the future. She's a year older than Robbie, but he is physically stronger than her and has a short temper. She may want to keep her attacks strictly verbal from now on, although lately, she seems to have lost some of her interest in her annoying her adopted brother.
  5. Thank you, Parker. I agree with your comments on Rory. He's a good guy and deserves better treatment from Robbie, who may need the support of a good friend like Rory when things aren't so rosy.
  6. Robbie probably made it worse by not leaving it alone. I'm not an expert on this kind of injury, but a friend of mine had a similar experience to this a few years back and it affected her quite badly and she had to see her doctor in the end. I have no idea if she was honest to her doc about the cause, or what, if anything he was able to do to help, but it soon got better and she has refused to discuss it since.
  7. Poor Rory is often overlooked or taken for granted by those the people around him, and none more so than Robbie. Robbie should probably have come out to Rory ages ago. Rory, gay or straight, would not have told anyone else and it would have been better than trying to guess his sexuality.
  8. Nice work as usual Dark. I love this feature and four very talented authors
  9. This is great, thank you Cia for explaining this. I'm learning all the time and although I have no idea what a 'subjunctive mood' is or a 'perfect aspect', I definitely share your interest in 'dangling modifiers'! Only saying.
  10. I would have happily slept all day on Saturday, had it not been for a promise that I had made more than a month ago to Rory. Last night’s incredible adventure at Nathan’s house, still dominated my thoughts, but I needed somehow to put it all to one side for a few hours and return to my English mode, in order to cheer on the national team in South Africa. Spending the afternoon in the delectable company of Rory, was a pretty good incentive for me, even with the understanding that no matter what I
  11. Thank you sweetlion, yes, of course, it is worth remembering that the boys are still young and relatively inexperienced/shy around one another. This is something that I have tried to portray, rather than have everything working perfectly, which would be highly unlikely under the circumstances. I wanted to try to keep it real while maintaining a naughty element. I'm not sure if I succeeded or not. Time will tell.
  12. Thanks, Parker, maybe that would be asking too much, we'll see.
  13. Thank you wenmale for your interesting review and comment. The walls are fast closing in, and Robbie's secret will be out soon. We will have to wait and see what position Nicola takes when the shit hits the fan.
  14. I don't think that Robbie talks in his sleep, and if he does then Daniel may have been a bigger problem. He certainly needs to be wary of Nicola though.
  15. “You look really cute when you cum,” he said, before planting another long kiss on my lips. I looked at him curiously, as I lie on my back, taking deep breaths and listening to my heart still thumping inside. “Your face I mean; it’s so sexy.” He was lying next to me on his side, smiling. I was still in dreamland. “Was that nice baby?” I nodded my appreciation of his hard work, as my body slowly returned to somewhere close to normal. “I guess you don’t need any lessons in that department.” He g
  16. Good point, but the basement is a fairly safe place for Nathan, as it's not really used by his parents. We can only hope that they've been careful with their clothing, though.
  17. Thanks sweetlion, I hope the next chapter lives up to your expectations. I appreciate your review.
  18. Thank you for your review wenmale, I hope you like the next one. I look forward to reading your opinion.
  19. I suppose that I should have known better than to try to outsmart Nathan. ‘I’m not very good at cards’, was what he had said to me. ‘I’ve been practicing with my sister’. Like this guy really needed to practice at poker. “You're a hustler!” I said, throwing in my hand. “Oops, I think I’ve won again,” he said excitedly, looking down at his three Queens. It was enough to beat my crappy hand, and I was beginning to wonder where he kept getting those cards from. He had a wicked smile on his face,
  20. Thanks for taking the time to review SolarMaxx. It is so encouraging to hear that people are enjoying the story. I am so pleased that you decided to give it a shot and I can assure you that the story will come to a conclusion. It's already finished, all I'm doing is editing each chapter before posting. However, to answer the second part of your question, the ending is still quite a way off and there are a few developments along the way. I hope you continue to enjoy it.
  21. Yeah, Nathan may be about to pull off a double bluff and turn the table on Robbie. Whatever happens, it looks like being a win, win situation for the boys.
  22. Thank you for your review. Wow, somebody reading the story from Cobourg is pretty cool. I hope that you continue to enjoy.
  23. Thank you so much CLS for your kind words, and encouragement. This is something that I've grappled with for a long time now. I've been wondering whether I have more than one story in me to tell. The problem is after putting so much love and effort into a project like this, it's going to be difficult, maybe impossible for me to just call it a day and give up writing. I love it too much and as long as there's somebody out there who enjoys what I'm doing, then I'll continue to write. I've already started another story, which will start posting soon, and it will be interesting to see what kind of reaction it gets. Thank you for your support and for your interest in my interest. I hope that I am able to keep you entertained.
  24. Thanks for your review. Your point is very relevant and Robbie's fatherless childhood is something that I have been trying to convey in the story.
  25. I'd love to be able to say that I did this on purpose, but it is pure coincidence.
