Thank you Jeff, families do tend to make things tight, but you're right, little kids should feel safe at all times. Isn't it! I got a kick outta that one too...

Daven's a good man, trying to do the right thing. It might get him into some trouble. As for Kian, he's reaching for something...

Chapter Three Daven stepped back fast. His eyes filled with panic. Kian frowned. Perhaps he should have been more gentle in his introduction. Still, it was always good to keep the truth in the open. Daven was an assignment to him. His mark. Given to him by the deadliest organization in existence. Their relationship had to be clear. “I’m calling the cops,” Daven said, starting to head back to the house. “That would be a mistake.” “Two people are dead in the mall. You kille

Chapter 10 “Where’s the Prince? Where is he? Where is he?” Sando shouted, his mouth covered with a cloth to ward off sand. Frantic, he moved from one horse to another, searching. The sand settled as abruptly as it appeared. Sando stood in the middle of a circle with the black guard and Lenoth, Midori’s man, on horses around him. “He’s gone,” Lenoth said. “Find him!” Sando screamed. Looking at the head of the black guard, he scowled. “We are not losing him now. You know

Two “Wake up! Wake up!” Un-fucking-believable. Daven groaned into his pillow as two pairs of little hands rapped a relentless beat on his back. He turned his head to the left and opened one eye. He caught a glimpse of a brown-skinned little girl, her hair in long braids, peering at him. Zena caught him looking and she giggled, reaching for her brother, Aram, who knelt on Daven’s right side. Daven buried his face into his pillow again, listening to Zena and Aram whisper to each ot

One Sixth Autumn Tones of orange, yellow and green colored the trees growing on the hills surrounding the valley. The air cool, calling for a warm wool scarf around the neck, a warm coat, perhaps thick socks, but the weather wasn’t there yet. Kian stared at his bleeding right index finger, his hands were numb from the cold. His upper arms burned, his shoulders ached, he wished he had on warmer clothes. “Faster.” Kian winced at the command. Biting his bottom lip, Kian glanced

Lisa!!!! Thank you! And for mentioning My Jae, I tend to miss him a lot, and end up writing short little stories for him. Cole, Thank you too...I think you've sent me into heaven with excitement with this comment. If anyone needs me, I'll be there. :) Thank you Drew! The mention of the Crown Prince makes me want to go and update that right now with the speed of lightning. I can't wait to read other author features like these. There are so many amazing stories on this site! The backstories to the creative side would be so exciting to read about! I hope more authors get doing this! -

Lolz, thank you for this very passionate comment. I wanted to come back with a strong argument for the way I've written it, but..this is right. Perhaps Shin and Miki should have had a transition to get them back together. All I can say is...the heart never lies. Thanks for reading!

Part 2 : The Party that Broke the Dam of Emotion After binging on Director Park’s creativity for two days, Miki decided he wanted to meet Park Shin again. On his own terms, of course. So, he called all the people who owed him favors, to get Shin invited to the party on the card Suki had brought him. After all, Shin was coming to Tokyo to find investment partners. Miki wanted answers. Meeting Shin would give him that, but there was the insane need to make an impression too. Shin wasn’t the

Part 8 : Jeju Island and Reality Shin was beyond happy. Seeing him smile wide at the mere sight of his mother was enough, Miki thought. The two had a special connection. Shin and Haesoo were in the kitchen talking with excitement…talking, cooking. Though, Miki was sure not much cooking was happening. The two talked nonstop. Shin’s melancholy was gone, disappeared by a red lipstick smile and bright eyes. Seeing Shin with his mother made Miki think of his own. He called her often. Never

Part 5: A Car Ride, a Wooden Boats Bridge and One Wish After that Sunday, a comfortable routine began in their small household. Shin made breakfast early in the morning, which certainly brought Min out of his bedroom earlier than before. Miki finally got to see Min in his high school uniform. A white shirt, with the school’s logo, dark trousers and a blazer. His tie in a very untidy knot. Shin scowled at it every time Miki sat at the table. Watching them bicker was a fantastic experience.

“I knew the first time we met, You’d be kinda hard to forget…” Chapter One: When it Started Thinking back now, that man’s effect on a dry heart that had never known love must have started at the beginning. His deep voice…his dark gaze...Miki couldn’t stop the smile at the thought of that stupid list of chores stuck on the fridge. Goodness, even the man’s grouchy attitude must have had an effect on his poor untouched heart. He doubted he ever had a chance to escape this complete entangle

Chapter 8 Nights were the hardest, especially the ones he was not busy. Raphael kept to his office in the basement to avoid Hyun and his damnable innocence. He thought about Hyun’s kiss, and wished he could indulge in the absolute decadence that was kissing Hyun. The wish stopped there though. Hyun was someone who now held power over him. A liability who understood what would hurt him. Showing him Talin and Dimitri hadn’t been his plan, but now that it had ended that way, getting Hyun out

Thank you Ang3l, so happy to know this. I will work on updating it often.

Thanks M.P. for always reading this story. It means a lot to me.

Nine “Have you found Midori?” Namik’s sharp gaze rested on his steward. “I want him here.” “My lord, General Midori was last spotted on the borders of Earith fighting against our forces,” Rocke said. “All attempts to reach him have failed.” “You mean his inner circle has killed your messengers,” Namik said, his tone amused. “Looks like I trained him well. However, I must have left out vital lessons for him to defy me this way. No matter, once we have taken the palace and Prin
