I loved this story. So what if I am biased because I moved back to Chicagoland from Springfield two years ago, that I am of a certain age, or that my actual name IS Geoff! More seriously though, the characters themselves were endearing from the start. It was easy to root for them from the beginning. I was also happy to read a tale when no one got cheated on or cheated on some one else. Excellent read. PS : Going to the Shedd will never be the same!

What is your favorite Hair/Eye color combination.

Eyes, almost any other color than brown (sorry, but I could look into a mirror for that.) Hair, black with the start of a nice salt and pepper. You know what I mean! Even when I was younger that would do it for me! -
When I worked in the theatre, we did "Breaking the Code" which is a play about Alan and his life and how his mind worked. It was the first time I had heard of him. I am sure it was not the entire story of course, but his sexuality was addressed fairly well I thought. A very unique person who does deserve more accolades.

In no order other than what I just thought real quick: TV: Lots of old BBC (As Time Goes By, Vicar of Dibley, Monty Python, etc,), and for no apparent reason South Park (huh?) Movies: Amadeus, Cleopatra, Excalibur, Gladiator, Elizabeth (and Elizabeth the Golden Age); I guess I like long, wordy movies with endings that can bring me to tears. I repeat, huh?

I am really enjoying your story (one of the reasons I signed into this site). I was able to "tune in" to the characters right away, caring about, and what, happens to them. It will be interesting to see how Devin gets along on Bastian's home planet and with the rest of the Degans. I continue to look forward to the next chapters!
