I try really hard to make a story engaging even when the genre can seem a little played out. Hopefully I can keep your interest piqued. We have a ways to go.

Thank you so much! I struggled with how to write this chapter, because a series of scenes with Jimmy stalking Sawyer without context would certainly push him into the creep category. I had the idea of using this as an opportunity to add to his backstory, and I'm pretty pleased with it.

Tonight would be the new moon and Jimmy should have been at his most calm, but the sight of the young banker perked up his wolf. He didn’t like the way the trees had been chopped out to make room for the house on this land. It had been stripped back far enough, he couldn’t sneak in close even with the lack of moonlight. Sometimes it's difficult, but posting and feedback is a big part of why I share on GA. It's good to see how readers respond. It helps gauge the writing and the plot. And about does reader feedback and comments affect the story? Ask @Carlos Hazday LOL On occasion, I have changed plot points because readers figured things out I wanted to keep quiet. I don't always do it, but if secrets are obvious when you're trying to hide them, then I haven't done it right.

Oh, Fergus is using Jimmy for sure, but he wants him all the same. Fergus is the product of degenerate teachings disguised as tradition from a young age. He doesn't understand his attractions as he sees them as "boys will be boys" activities. He's kinda messed up.

I think he's been stringing Jimmy along to get the dirty work of the rabids done and keep his hands clean at the same time. He clearly wants to induct Jimmy, but he's leveraging Jimmy's need for a pack to gets what he wants from him first.

We'll see how Fergus plays his hand in the future. Jimmy has his own agenda. There could be a clash. Irvin and Shayna involved with the rogue? I like that theory. We might have to explore that in the future.

I wanted to show how self-involved Fergus was and how his "activities" with his betas had an undertone of something seriously wrong. Red flags abound.
