    Well, another powerful scene perfect for the movies. I am so glad that Lucas did not die so I am keeping my fingers crossed that does not come to pass. This time is going to be so hard for Jubal with his worry for Lucas and the daily Chores I just do not think his is going to keep much rest. I can picture him cleaning that blood. Jubal is such a good man with a heart that's wide and true. Great chapter 😄

    This was just the best scene the hero struggle to save the life of the man (dare I say) he loves. John Ford could have shot this scene it had everything fear, tension, and yes Triumph over that worm of a man. And of course, the music playing in the back and the race to town to save Lucas live. God I love this chapter! Thanks so much.

    Well, what can I say, I bet loads more is it jealous I see in Reids eyes and surely not friendship. And Jubal is a jump guy, and it would not take much to get him to do that. And we can only guess Lucas and Reid are saying and it would not take much to send Jubal to set him to running. And that would be so bad in so many ways!

    What's not to love about having a horses? It's always a thrilling prospect! We get to witness Lucas and Jubal in action once again, constructing their ingenious horse trap. Their vision for the farm doesn't stop there; they're planning an apple orchard and new pens for the horses. Exciting times ahead! And Jubal put his feeling a side .     Your right they take what they need they are Vampires it's in their nature to do so as in feeding. They need the blood, and they take what they must. And they do not kill which I think is Nobel. Other Vampire kills when they feed. And this is just one thing.

    No wonder Jubal is gun shy after being dragged behind a horse. And there is a lot to Lucas even if he is only a friend. And working a farm is easier for two then it is for one. And the way that Jubal feels it might never be more than one. Even if I have my fingers crossed for Jubal, he sure knows hell a lot of things! Thanks a lot for the wonderful tale.
