    Fever Ray - To the Moon and Back Hiding the video here, cause it contains imagery some may find odd or disturbing (no nudity). The song also has explicit lyrics. I highly recommend watching it, though. It's such a good and creative music video.

    Hope you feel better soon, molly! Seems I missed quite the conversation while I was at dinner... Home again now. Gonna do some writing before bed. Tomorrow I'm gonna have to work on the home exam I have that's due on Monday. Ugh.

    My former flatmate and best friend since middle school is in town (she lives in Dubai right now, for work) for the weekend, so on my way to have dinner with her and the rest of our gang. Spent the afternoon after recording was done sitting in my favourite bookshop/cafe writing and chatting with one of the proprietors while drinking tea. It’s been a nice day and promises to be a good evening, too. I’ll drop by again later! ❤️❤️❤️

    You sure this shouldn’t be moved to The Pit? I feel like this topic can very easily become political. Experiments with shorter work weeks and and fewer hours per day have in many cases shown an increase in productivity, in that workers get the same amount of work done in 6 hours as they do in 8.

    Is that actually a thing? How does it do with words that have more syllables when written than when pronounced? Like Wednesday?Does it count the written ones or the spoken ones?

    This band is awesome. Jazz folk fusion. A trio featuring piano, drums, and accordion. The accordion works surprisingly well. Weird music, but very cool.

    Thanks, tim. It’s cold in here, too, with so much equipment... Dram is used in Nordic languages to mean a unit of strong alcohol. Especially in Norwegian, though not so much by younger people. Same as in Scotland; a wee dram. EDIT: And I very much enjoy a good wine, a decent cocktail, or some single malt whisky.

    Argh, I feel so out of my element! Get me out of here! I feel like I’m doing f*** all, too, which makes me feel really guilty. “Get me an AKG 480 microphone, please?” I literally have to google it so I know what it looks like and don’t have to look at all of them to find it. Give me dynamic mics for live work any day, these fragile condensers that literally cost thousands make me so nervous. What if I drop them? Aargh!
