  1. Wow, when you put it like that it makes me feel so anal retentive.
  2. True. Also, if you changed something that made it so you yourself were never born. Because if you did that, you could never have gone in the first place.
  3. Well, the oldest since Hartnell, who was also 55, yeah.
  4. Of course, if one goes back in time with the intent to change something, changing it would eliminate the need to go back in the first place, and so one would never have gone. Changes made to history when travelling back in time must always be accidental or at least not premeditated, so as not to create a paradox.
  5. I approve of this idea.
  6. My apologies. *hides*
  7. I will do the thing when I have the permission of the owner of the account. *nods*
  8. It can also be viewed on the iPlayer for non-UK residents if you've got The TunnerBear or Hola Unblocker. I love the Doctor Who Proms things. I've seen them all! Except this one.
  9. Ooh, fun! Is it on the iPlayer? I'd love to see it in full quality...

I can't believe I haven't responded to this lovely, long review!! Thank you so much! I'm really happy you enjoyed this story. I'm sure these two do have more stories to tell. I've been considering writing another short for this collection with them as the subject. I am also planning a possible sequel to Nemesis, though, so maybe some of it could happen there as well. We'll see. Thanks for reviewing!

It's probably because I was pretty mature at 16... I mean, I was plenty dramatic and emo and maladjusted, but I had both an intellectual and emotional maturity that went well beyond my peers, so... I haven't really got much else to go on. Thanks for reading these stories, too! There are some more in the works, one is nearly finished.

Alan has grown in so many ways, I'm so proud of him!
  13. I know, I've read the first three. Napoleonic wars, with dragons! Alt history genre.
  14. Also, the miniseries was commissioned by SyFy (or The Sci-fi Channel, as it was then) but produced by UTV, and the first season was a colab with UK's Sky Television and originally aired on Sky1. Besides, it's basically The West Wing in space, it would have been awesome no matter how they'd done it.
  15. Wow, I think that's seriously one of the greatest compliments I've ever had on my writing. I love it that you find me unpredictable. I hope I can keep that up. I can, at the very least, promise that you haven't seen the last of the sex scenes this story has to offer yet. Thank you for a long and awesome review! I'm glad you're still enjoying the story!
  16. Rhyming slang is more of a cockney thing, really... And has been used, on occasion, by multiple characters, I believe.
  17. Ah, yeah, I get what you mean. That does seem like pretty pointless writing.
  18. Well, a lot of writers do that... George R. R. Martin comes to mind.
  19. I personally think it would be awesome to have dragons in a non-medieval setting. Dystopia is the kind of science fiction that portrays a world in which everything is kind of broken, usually wrapped up in the idea of the perfect society. Corruption, authoritarianism and control are staples of this genre. Examples of dystopic societies include Aldous Huxley's Brave New World, Ray Bradbury's Farenheit 451 and George Orwell's 1984. The way the poll is looking right now, I have this mental image of a medieval setting, but with futuristic technology (maybe tesla-esque wireless electricity) and an evil, authoritarian empire using telepathic mages to control people's thoughts and actions.
  20. I personally consider myself part of the CumberCollective, which is Benedict's preferred term.
  21. I'd go back to when one of my older celebrity crushes was my age and seduce them.
  22. This looks exciting. And I love Kate Winslet!
  23. ...But it won't be the same with different actors. It'll be just like with Stargate. I couldn't get into SG-1 because the actors were different and I loved the movie.
  24. Lol! Benedict hates that word. He thinks it sets feminism back decades.
  25. I second this idea.
