Where do I begin? I want to comment but am speechless! Zach and Will...can this end well? I don't think so. Zach might have to stay in the closet for the next 10 yrs or so. I feel sorry for Zach because he's so torn between his love for football and his love for Will. I feel hope for Matt as the gilt on the royal crown is beginning to tarnish. I like the way Matt handled it. A quiet strength. Hopefully through the note, Matt, the handsome Prince will awake sleeping beauty from his sleep. Awesome chapter as always. Can't wait to see how the book ends. Jinty

Killing off Lord A would create an international incident that even JP would find hard to cover up. I'm hoping that if someone just gave him enough rope...

Hi Mark, Great chapter as always. I don't get Alex, I realize that for the British nobility having a wife and a mistress at the same time was normal but wasn't so sure it still happened. Though us Brits can be a bit eccentric! As for Zach, it was a shock but I can see it. His focus is on playing professional football and his family think his relationship with Will is bad news. So either he has had some sort of conversion experience or more likely, it has been suggested to Wally and Clara by his PR guy that if he gets involved in the church then it will counteract the 'negative' influence Will as on him, and look good for Zach in the media. If it is the church Robbie's Mum goes to, then I can see them wanting to protect another Hayes boy from the evil clutches of the Schluters. On a more important note, only 3 more chapters? Nooooo Thanks again for the awesome writing. I've just finished reading Paternity again and am about to embark on 9.11 for the 2nd time. Jinty

Wade meeting William and Harry! Just as well Will wasn't there or there could be a right royal scandal greater than George and William, Duke of Clarence. It was good to hear Wade 's thoughts but I'm worried that without meaning to, he will try to keep a relationship with both men. It seems as though he wants his cake and eat it too. Matt needs someone he can depend on, not someone who is torn emotionally between two men. There, that's my tuppence worth. Great read as always. Jinty

Think I missing the same step. If Matt says he only barebacked Wade then, using JP logic, Wade must have it. Where would he have got it? Either that or Matt's memory is faulty. Probably my memory is faulty! Jinty

My name is Jinty and I like Will. There, thought I would get that confession out there. Brilliant chapter, but then 99% of them are. I think Will was right challenging Wade. Will was able to say how it looks from the outside, with NO as well as Matt, when all Wade can think about is Alex. Feel sorry for Matt. Glad Will was able to help. Doesn't look good for Wade if Matt only barebacked him. Can't figure it out. Hopefully it is a faulty test. If not, it might make Wade reevaluate relationships. Do I really have to wait till Saturday? No fair! Jinty

Mark, you made me cry! That was so bittersweet. Alex must be a really big deal for Wade. Hope Matt finds someone as great . Awesome chapter as usual. Thanks. Jinty

Another chapter so quickly! Thank you, thank you, thank you. Am just working through the books again and am at Bloodlines. Quite apt for this chapter. Brilliant as always. Thank you! (Have I already said that?) Jinty

Am really enjoying this. It has the potential to be epic sci-fi. I look forward to reading subsequent chapters. Jinty x

All I could hear was 'da da daaa' soap cliffhanger sound effect! This could be fun. Hope this reunion will be positive. Could be awkward for Josh, though. Bring on the drama!

Kody, If memory serves me well, Brad was with Marcel. Not long after Robbie was killed. Great chapter Mark as usual. Matt and Wade though not there yet, are getting to a healthy place. With Brad it is a matter of time. Hope he finds the right guy eventually.

Hi, Good to see you on Gay Authors. Loved your Butt Monkey series and enjoyed this too. Hope to read more of your work on here. Jinty

Am really enjoying Matt getting things sorted although it's bittersweet. Brad and Robbie spent time apart and it worked out. Still hoping it might here too. You must get sick of hearing it but.....brilliant writing as usual. Ta x

Ben and Brad? This looks like it could be good! I do hope Matt will be able to hold his nerve and repair his relationships with all at Escorial. Realising how stupid he was is a positive start. I am so looking forward to this. Ta. X

Oh Matt. Too little, too late? As Joni Mitchell sang 'you don't know what you've got till it's gone.' I hope that maybe in time he and Wade might get back together. Feel sorry for both Matt and Wade. Grief is difficult enough without the bereavement that comes with a break up. Hopefully Matt will begin to work through his issues. Great chapter, but each chapter is awesome. Thanks again. Jinty

Hi, Just noticed you have put 9.11 on hold. I hope that the break is for pleasant reasons and not the alternative. I hope it's not too long before we return to Escorial and all its drama. My days will be less bright until then . Thanks again to Team Arbour for your hard work entertaining and educating the masses. Jinty

Great chapter. It was like an episode of Jeremy Kyle (UK reference). I'm with Stef....love the drama.

Thanks for another great chapter. Not sure if I like Zach, I don't wish him I'll, more specifically, I don't think he is right for Will. As long as Zach remains in the closet, an emotional relationship with Will won't go well. A broken heart on top of grief would be a hard blow. Poor Brad, in CAP terms, it is only 6 weeks since Robbie died, being so near must make the grief all the more raw. My heart goes out to him. Thanks again, Mark.

Same as him... A chapter for Christmas...lovely present. Thanks. Have a great holiday.

Great chapter as always. I'm glad that Brad is listening to Will and not just fighting him. I'm also pleased that Tony seems to be getting his head sorted. Too early for a HEA but Will is good for him.

Yay...George is back. Thank you Mark. X

Crying like a baby from the start to the end. Utterly brilliant. I'm glad Brad was able to say goodbye through Marcel. Thank you, again.

Fantastic! Mark, your writing gets better and better. Love how you had us crying at Wade 's grief and cheering at Elizabeth's nose being firmly put out of joint with Ethan. Love it, love it, love it.

You pig, Mark! I was so enjoying this charming, romantic chapter. So happy for Winkler. So enjoying an emotional rest from 9.11.....Poor Winkler, the bottom drops out of his world. I hope this is a small squall and not a hurricane storm. He deserves to be happy. Granger would be the means of allowing them to be together without it being obvious. It must have been awful having to disguise who you loved. Having just moaned at you, it must have been quite common for gay men to marry. It could be a marriage of convenience. From his earlier conversation, Jacobs doesn't seem to have any plans to go home, maybe this is a divorce in all but name. Who knows? Well, you do, Mark. I trust you to treat Winkler with the same affection that George does.

So sad about Robbie. Glad he was able to say goodbye to Brad. I have tears in my eyes. Great writing again, Mark.
