I am loving the story and realise that it's not a romance but I'm hoping that Lewis finds someone to settle down with. It was a pity he couldn't have got to know Sebastian better. I think they could have been a good match.

If my child got himself suspended because he wanted to go on a trip, he would not be going. Other than that...good chapter.

I'll just add my welcome back, Mark. Sorry to hear you've been under the weather. Depression's a bitch! Glad you're feeling better. I'm just appreciative of all your excellent writing. With the story so far, it's hard to judge whether Buzz is really the nice guy or a clever plant. I'm hoping that after a string of wives, he might decide that Brad could be a better option, though Will might vehemently disagree.

“Let us hope that karma catches up with them,” Grand said, much too obliquely. I don't think this story is winding up at all. I think Mark is just getting going. I think, from the quote above, JP has something up his sleeve. He is ruthless, and we haven't seen that side of him in a while. Will may get a lesson in revenge from a master. We still have the fallout from JJ's court case against ME, and the repercussions for the Grangers. Brad 's back and gunning for someone. I foresee lots of twists and drama. Brilliant stuff, keep 'em coming. -

Brilliant chapter, Mark. And so quick after the last chapter. I am loving JJ. He really has come into his own. I think he and Carullo would be great, even if it's just as therapy to get over Alex. Can't help thinking that it would be a gay version of Lady Chatterly's Lover. The aristocrat and the rugged gardener. Thanks again for your hard work.

Yes, the games have began and the rollercoaster has just started to plummet down the other side. Poor JJ, I'm glad you said that no one dies as I would be worried. Mary Ellen is her mother's daughter. Wouldn't be surprised if the pregnancy was deliberate. 1. I hope Alex insists on a paternity test before committing to anything. 2. I also hope that he fixes things with JJ. If I were Alex, I think I should fear the wrath of the Crampton/Schluters than Elizabeth. Great chapter. Can we have the next one please?

Great chapter as always, Mark. Christmas has come early. I do hope Eastwyck is alright. More importantly, you left it hanging just as George was going to confront Nelson and then get some action with Perkins. Will we have to wait until 2015? Great chapter. I'm a little surprised that Brad didn't phone Cam himself. I know they were keeping things light but a call from a friend would not have been remiss. Maybe he's not as into Cam as he thought.

Mark, in my opinion, excluding CAP which runs a close second, this is the best series on here by a country, or should I say naval mile. It is always worth the wait. The way you weave George in with real history so tightly you expect him to have his own Wikipedia entry. It also makes me want to find out more about the people he interacts with, thus broadening my own understanding of history. Genius! Thank you for brightening my day.

It is so good to really get to know JJ. I think JJ could be the making of Alex. He has done his research and knows what he wants. He's not the naive boy everyone seems to think he is. If he is allowed time for a relationship to flourish, JJ and Alex could surprise us. JJ has all that Alex would want in a partner; good looks, designer clothes, elegance and a Schluter fortune to prop up his English estate.

If it weren't for Alex eventually needing a whore, he and JJ could be quite good together. I don't think he's completely evil, just psychologically challenged. But, hey, aren't we all in some way? Not another Parnell? Hope he's no relation to the evil Brian. Though I'm sure it's a common enough surname. Will would have to put out a contract! Zach needs to keep a cool head, he could end up outing himself. Great, as always. Jinty

I was at a concert the other night and 4 seats away, sat my George Granger...long blond hair, straight nose, gorgeous. As soon as I saw him, I knew. I could even see him in a Regency naval uniform. I watched him as much as the band. Jinty

What Miles said.. I think Brad and Cam are sweet (apologies to those who don't like sweet) I don't think age is an issue. Tom Daley is 20 and his bf is almost 40. I can't see Matt having a problem esp after giving Brad and Wade his blessing. He has matured so much, Brad and Cam's happiness will be his focus. Mark, your writing is the highlight of my week. JJ is almost 17 and Alex 22. That's not a huge age gap and as the UK age of consent is 16, I can't see Alex having a moral problem being with JJ. But I agree with Impunity. Alex wants a princess and JJ is happy to be a princess so I can see any relationship being more romantic than sexual. However, having said that, I am expecting a Mark curved ball. Jinty
