Despite my empathy, I was disappointed by Preston's pettiness.

George is wanderlust personified. I'm going to keep my thoughts about Travers quiet for the time being, with the exception of this, John could have mollified George better and still protected his secret. George is letting his age show by being so quick to assume the worst. Thanks.

While I adore Travers and Calvert, I can't help but think George would fare better with someone who is more equal to him socially. That and I think George is too much for just one man .

This is the way of the navy; George learned this with Travers, though I doubt that takes any of the sting out of the situation.

Calvert has gone a long way to undo the damage he did last time they were in London. I'm not sad about Jardines I never really embraced him, but I am concerned for Arthur. I think it's hilarious that George is almost petulant in his annoyance that his older brother isn't married yet. Thanks for all the great work.

Humphreys has good instincts and more than that ambition that Calvert lacks giving George and Francis a bit more time before life separates them again.

George is not the average 19 year old, obviously. Calvert, although bright, shows his age a bit more.

George is definitely a grandson that inspires a great deal of pride. No doubt the favoritism will inspire a bit of jealousy from the eldest Granger son. Captivating work.

Of course Caroline had Calvert removed; George comes home and spends all his time with Calvert when Caroline had just given birth to his child. George open your pretty blue eyes...they are blue right?

Cavendish is here now so my Granger world order is set. On a side note I find it ironic that George can master any foe but the viral ones.

George is in the unfortunate position of having to compromise his honor to maintain the integrity of not just his family but his government. He walks a fine line quite adroitly, just like the author who created him.
