My heart goes out to Calvert. He's almost the perfect man, unfortunately he is not the perfect man for Granger. It's a difficult situation all around.

Granger is a master of handling not just his men but also his men. Have I told everyone lately how awesome this story is? It awesome!

As professionally compatible as they are, personally Calvert and Granger are a bit too tumultuous.

In many ways Granger and Calvert are cut from the same ilk. They are both good naval strategists able to think and adapt quickly as event arise. They really do make a good team professionally.

Sometimes waiting to see how things play out is the only thing one can do. It can be hard for people of action to sometimes realize that life moves on regardless of direct action.

20 years of hard labor should be enough time for the three deserters to ponder their poor decisions.

Granger is like other great Arbour characters, in that bad things tend to happen to those who fuck with them and theirs, often by their own actions even. Conway should find some preserves because he's toast.

A new little baby peer to take under his wing...Kingsdale is a lucky kiddo. I enjoyed the antics with the mutineers. Annoying characters deserve a bit of comeuppance.
