I don't think I could do what Brad does. I'd be an emotional wreck. We used to have Kashin Money Boxes when I was a kid. Kashin was an elephant at Auckland City Zoo. He was a Mascot for the local bank. The money boxes were elephant shaped.

That would be cool. Especially with the readership you have. Just think of some of the names they could think of . You should do it Cal. Being even more interactive with stories is always a plus, I think.

I understand the 'easy to get'. However, my shirt is the same as your shirt. Whilst black pants are more common, khaki chinos are hardly rare. The same with all white runners. Brad didn't want them to be flashy, yet he wants them to look they are from a Private School and wear a black tie. Why would he want them to look like a Private School? They are not a Private School. Chinos are hardly contemporary. The original khaki chinos are over 170 years old. If Brad really wants them to look like they are from a Private School, then he wouldn't be able to do it time e.g. all Private Schools I know of wear blazers. The school I went to was Public but even we had blazers if the occasion required. With our school colours, the blazers were pale blue with thin yellow/gold stripes with a red-tongued rampant golden lion and school motto on the breast pocket. Then of course there were the school ties. nb: the school blazers have since been changed. It is also now co-ed. I can't imagine that. I am glad I went when I did when it was Boys only. Toe-mate-o, toe-mart-o. I agree to disagree The Kids are going to have a ball, that is all that matters. Has anyone checked to see if all the Kids have even seen Lion King? I think they should definitely watch the video before going to the show. I think they would get more out of the live musical if they did that.

This was a really nice chapter. It is great to see a bunch of people who have come together through the power of good and just enjoy. Bubba is such a treasure. Wonder what his dog's name is going to be?

I was surprised Brad didn't comment about someone going out and buying a wheelchair straight away. It seems to be his modus operandi. I apologise, by I must have that particular gene - the black pants, white shirts and black ties sound hideous. Okay. So maybe not hideous exactly. Even the idea of school uniform type outfits was not great. How about all white runners, khaki chinos, tan belts, white long sleeved button downs. If the option is required, khaki woven utility twill mini skirts (from Cotton On) could replace the chinos.

Just to defend my sanity (), I have mentioned twice previously that I think that what Stefan was initially searching for in Vin's Parents home was not a thing, but a person - Vin. That Stefan maybe did not realise that. Just crowing cause it looks like I might be right. Just quickly, I love G&Ts. Bombay Sapphire is my fav Gin. The first time I ever drank G&T it was premixed and came in a flagon. Yes, I was quite young so drinks of this quality (or rather lack of) were quite common. I remember tipping into a pot plant near me it was so gross. See you in 30!

D'gar would be the perfect as Weyrlingmaster. He has the knowledge, experience, compassion, aptitude, etc. In regards to losing young Riders/Dragons, I think he is looking at that from the wrong direction. With him they will receive the best training, etc. Said training would cut down on the potential reasons a Rider and/or Dragon may get hurt, injured or worse. He would be arming them with the best possible chance of survival. Now, F'drun. I am worried for S'fyn. I hope nothing happens to him before they have a chance to meet. LOL - with all the comments, it almost like a written law that F'drun must be punished via volcano. May I ask, if a Rider cannot fly anymore is that an automatic Rider and Dragon fly between? If not, what happens to the Dragon if they have no 'actual' Rider? Are they useful in any way to a Weyr? If there is no negative effect on his Dragon, then F'drun needs to be incapacitated somehow.

He doesn't like gay people? That's it? How unimaginative. I don't know why I am surprised considering F'drun's character, or lack thereof.

This was an awesome way to end out the Year. Vin was surrounded by loved ones, had fun on a run, had a feast then nearly everyone got some. Perfect. NB: Dave and Dirk need mates please. Unless?!?! My fav bit is the Family that Vincent has surrounded himself with. So good and so diverse. CyrusPB seems surprisingly invested. Just imagine if he and Kap were an actual Mated Pair. Loved the visual of VinW in the back of the truck going from side to side. Cock-a-doodle-do! This is me crowing. Sorry. Couldn't help it. I know what I mean Lastly, I hope you all had a very enjoyable Christmas and that the coming New Year Celebration is even better. I know I've said it before, but I really do like VinW very much. He and VinH are so well suited. VinW is young but he is so clever as well, plus he listens to VinH and vice versa. They really are a Team. Plus, I think we all need to 'grin with all of our teeth' more. Cyrus seems like he could be really intense. I am glad you are thinking of (?) telling Kap's story. That would be very interesting. That whole scene with him and Cyrus - I just wanted to give him a big hug. After Cyrus' big reveal, we may need a background story about him as well. In regards to the turning, I am allergic to pain. Especially when it starts off with a '...knee cap snapping out of place...' I get that there has to be pain in the initial Turning, but damn was that willy shrinking. Plus, I love when Alpha Mate's Wolves are white. It is generally rare so makes them special. Kaplan surprised me. I've never heard of a cream coloured wolf. Onto the next chapter...

Brad, and people like him, don't just give the Kids hope, etc. They are our hope as well. Without people like Brad the world would be even more unbalanced than it already is. More unbalanced than it already is. Tell me that is not hella scary?

Firstly, Lion King is awesome. I loved seeing how they adapted things, that could only work on film,onto a live stage. Plus, it's the Lion King. Duh? Secondly, in relation to actually going...my been-there-done-that-sarcastically-skeptical-self would not believe it until I was in my seat waiting for the show to start.

Everything is moving along swimmingly. Can't wait to see how much they get from their upcoming Court Case.

It seems abit redundant to wish everyone Christmas Greetings so long after. When I go away I find it hard to upload comments on my mobile (as opposed to my laptop) so usually wait until I am back home. So I will just say that I hope everyone had a joyful Christmas Day. Brad is doing so well. Sanctuary is going to be a force to reckoned with.

I am not a religious person, by any stretch of the imagination really, but it annoys the "bleep" out of me when people weaponize and abuse religion/scripture to justify hate in all its forms. We have the ability to learn, to see, to deduce, to touch, to enjoy, to feel, to understand, to smell, to love, to accept, etc. Why are we so "enter your own bad word here!" Okay. The part that got to me, for some reason I am not sure of, is how each child walked out with a suitcase. It seemed so...clinical?

I can see how it would be hard for Brad, but he has to realise that he is saving lives every single day. He is not bemoaning the plight itself, he is actually out there doing something about it. His Mum should start a photo album of all the kids that go through Sanctuary. Should Brad ever turn up needing a shoulder to cry on or a hug or just affirmation of the good he is doing, then all she has to do is show him the album.

Well, I just had to read this chapter twice with a break in between. Just as awesome the second time around. So: a) Vinsy took his possession really well. Like, really well. When I was initially possessed by Eros and Cupid I was way more dramatic about it. Now. Now its like, 'Meh' But Vinsy took to it alot better than I did b) There were three moments for me in this chapter - Lowe's 'Got You', VinsyW's 'What?! He take over? I no let him' and VinsyW's 'Me. Not forget me' Oh. My. Life. Just way too adorable c) I love Alpa to bits. He is 2nd to Vinsy only, but he needs to stop when it comes to Lowe. There needs to be a rule in this story where Lowe gets to do whatever he wants because whatever he does is way too cute. How can he not love being called Alpa? Come on! If that ain't cute then I don't know what is. Oh, and FYI. If it is hard to get Lowe to sleep maybe he is not being tired out enough. Plus, I know Cay and Tasha had to get used to cold food, but at least it is their own. I lived in a household with multiple kids once. Sometimes it was easier/way quicker to just eat the scraps off the Kid's plates d) I think it would be awesome for Lowe to be a Lipard too. A Leopon would just be like a smaller lioness, right? Stature of a Leopard but colouring of a Lion? If Lowe is a Lipard, would he still have a mane? If so, what colour would the mane be? Normal or Leopard like? Without seems more stylistically pleasing (Sorry. Seems I do have that specific gay gene). Just imagine a male lion sized Leopard. Like everyone in Love In The Shadows World, I can't wait to meet VinsyW and VinsyH. That is gonna be so cool!

Lyle (and all the other Kids) have arrived at Sanctuary. It is more than just a name. "Before" may have been horrific, but now. Now comes the Good.

I hate to be one of those people that just barge in and invite themselves, but... Name a time on Christmas Eve and I will have a glass with y'all as well.
