Thanks for the review MJ! There is one result of Jason's actions that so far isn't futile, Clay's response of positive results. There is hope.

    Terrible Twos

Terrible Twos “That doctor of yours has a screw loose,” Sandy said gently touching Button’s little nose. “There is nothing wrong with this tiny angel. You need to find a different doctor.” “Mom, he’s smaller than he should be. The pediatrician said he’s in the lowest percentile and he’s not talking yet. He’s mostly just copying our inflections.” “He can barely stand yet, much less taking any steps,” Graham said his eyes downcast. “It breaks my heart.” “You said they didn’t find anything

    Chapter 5

Gar doing what "he" does best. Loving it!!!
  13. I should also note, the chapters in 1550 Loring Lane are themselves short stories. They are prompt stories that are connected by a fictional place. I find random tweets on Twitter and write a story based on how those words inspire me. You don't need to read all the stories, though of course you can!
  14. It stands alone. Reading that chapter gives a reader a sense of how they met and what the relationship is. It can be done at anytime. Thanks for the question!

    Chapter 1

I read this and thought of Piers Anthony's series. You don't borrow from it, but your mythological references are as powerful as his. Excellent writing.

    Chapter 19

Great story. I loved that Drew figured it out. The way we observe the reactions of those we love would reveal the truth. I'm glad they remained friends. Makes for a more poignant ending. Thanks Graeme. Wonderful job.

    Onesie

Onesie “Should we go with the red decorations or the blue,” Graham asked, fingering the bag of streamers in the aisle at the Target. He tried to catch Craig’s eye but he was looking elsewhere, down towards the other end of the store. “Huh? Whichever you think,” Craig answered holding Button close to his chest. He’d finally gotten the baby settled down and didn’t want to rile the child up. “Red is more festive I think. But, blue is the traditional choice for boys,” Graham puzzled and then s
