Yes, yes, yes! It's the decent thing to do! Well done, K! He proved to be such a skilled negotiator here. Is he the King of Clubs? So long since I played cards, I can't remember the significance of it. It's almost like the decency of KenMik is having its amazing effect even on someone like Candy, though the threat that K put on her was enough to bring her into line. It seems though, that having acknowledged the threat was too much for her, that she has now given in to doing the decent thing too. Time will tell. She may not be able to resist the onslaught of decency this time. We can but hope that even she is redeemable. As I said before, I have the greatest confidence that good will win out in the end.

The Queen of Spades is the Black Bitch if I remember, in a cut-throat game in which she is the highest penalty. Very appropriate! Looks as if this bitch is really out to do her damndest, though really I think it's probably less a case of her wanting to get back (though if she can do that too in the process, it pleases her) so much as her working towards her own selfish and greedy ends and not letting anything or anyone stand in the way. Ah well, I'm confident she will be thwarted by our bonnie boys somehow. I'm a great believer in good winning out in the end. And there is so much good happening here in KenMik and in the way they are treating Lanny and Janine. What is so touching in this chapter is just seeing K come out tops when M is down, even though K is feeling terrified by the proceedings. It is so touching too that K regards this baby as every bit his own. Can't wait for the baby to be born and safely in the hands of the dads. They are going to be such fantastic parents. It's interesting that you see K as being so good with people. It's more common for the organized folk to be task oriented rather than people-minded. Perhaps K is exceptional again in just another aspect of his being.

Wow! Again! I think you called this "On a Roll" and how appropriate. The parent's reaction was pretty predictable, though, of course, the details of the incidents you needed to supply in all the glory that you do - such great writing and you never disappoint. I love it! But then you up it by continuing that roll. K's dad wants to finish the back and live with them! Wow! Wow! Wow! This is such a turn around for K and such a surprise (for me, anyway) - a pleasant and beautiful surprise, I must add. So exciting! Thank you again, Gary, for this really great story.

Looking forward to the parents hearing the news - have to start calling them the grandparents now. They'll be thrilled at news of baby - probably blown out of their minds. I just love this story "so fucking much"(to quote my favourite characters - lol). You had me in tears through most of this chapter and laughs at the end. Love the way you ending the chapters with this delightful banter. But the house! OMG! What a house! Do you have a particular house in mind that you are describing (if so, pics please!) or is this like a dream house to you? Whichever way it is such a dream house, for a dream couple, dream family. Damn! Damn! Damn! Sorry. Have to explete! Just too fucking good! The emotion of it all just kept spilling over, and of course that KenMik are totally on the same page regarding their love of it. OMG! Too wonderful! Too beautiful! You rock!

What a great ending to the chapter! So hilarious! Just what was needed after all the tension. Kendall is great in seeing what was needed and stepping in just at the right moment. So they out-manipulated the manipulating bitch. Such irony there too! And Michael was so good in keeping his cool for as long as he did, and then when he lost it, it actually played against Candace though she thought it was a victory to her. Well done, Gary, for the marvelous twists and turns this took. And the fact that C doesn't want any rights at all nor any record to trace her as the mother, is a huge bonus. She would be endless trouble if she had any say in the child's life at all. I really hope in her case that there is not a jot of her nature passed on to the child and it's just all nurture from two wonderful dads.

Janine is a sweetheart. Glad she is who she is and is willing to help our bonnie boys. She will get on so well with the moms too. And I see a great romance blossoming for her and Lanny. You such a romantic, Gary! Love the cat too! Sure does put our Lanny on a different standing altogether. I don't know a cat lover who is a bad person. Lol! Just a bit misguided is all! Looking forward to them devising a good plan to outwit Candace. Much patience required and no hasty moves on their part. Though I think Fate is going to intervene in their favour again somehow to turn the tables for them. (What's the card game term for that?)

Wow, that was quite an amazing chapter, dealing with Lanny. Great stuff! And I do think that Lanny is going to end up a friend. Janine too. Looking forward to the work ahead to see how they tackle Candace and what her reaction will be. She’s as tricky as a 10-foot snake so it won’t be easy dealing with her. But I know you will have had a good plan on how they do that. Love your creativity in this story. It is as good as your characterization.

As usual, the guys come out tops. God, I love them! Thanks, Gary, for giving them to us. They would do great at whatever they put their minds and their hearts to. They just such great guys. They so soft-hearted when they need to be, but I know they going to show steel in dealing with Candy. Only because that’s what she asks for. But who knows, maybe she will change too. Glad that Lanny has a friend in Janine and that it seems Janine will be a friend to KenMik too. (Sorry, can’t resist that! Or maybe it’s AceDue or AcetoDooley. Still prefer the KenMik. Lol!)

Another great chapter. It's like you are really getting into the story and each chapter gets better and better. Such a great job! Really admire your writing. Would love to learn from you. The prank that Arron and Chet played was priceless. Maybe they should think of taking up acting. Lol! Sad about Lanny though. Yes, he's a big dick and probably deserves what he got, but there's a story there too. And he was so broken. But the info he gave was shattering but at the same time enticing. What is this going to lead to? Of course, Candy could be a problem, but I see here the potential for them taking on their first child. Wow! I was thinking how your story would make such a good TV series - KenMik! Lol! Though the sex would have to be downplayed which would be a loss. It would still be good with the suggestion of all their sexual interplay. Maybe one day!

You make every word, line, paragraph count in your building their relationship. Loved the interaction with K and his 2ic, Jeremy. Of course, I like the name! Lol! Will be interesting to see how he fits in with the guys and becomes a friend rather than just a workmate, especially since Chet is already set up with Arron. K is going to have to think again, though maybe his matchmaking days will come to an end. Lol! So enjoying all the little details of their lives too. Makes it so much more realistic. Looking forward to them exploring the house market and finding something they like. I love looking at houses!

Coming back to review as I'm several chapters ahead. Experiencing days without electricity and have to download when the generator is on so I can continue reading when it's off. Lol. Life has some challenges! No matter! It's just that a review is better when written immediately after reading. I have to say, I love the way you are growing their relationship. The "talking chapter" is so much a part of building a relationship, and one we often ignore at our peril. K and M are proving such great relationship-builders. Love how they are respectful, sensitive, probing and open. Such great combinations of characteristics. You are really writing such a great instruction manual. Lol!

Love the interaction between K and M too. When the one is out of sync the other steps in and they cover for each other. It is lovely to see. As I said in the last review, this story is such an inspiration to committed couples. It is so inspiring. And so palatable too with the sex, the humour, the kindness, the concern, the manliness, and so much more. Love it. Thank you so much. Such a very, very satisfying and enjoyable read.

Not sure what distracted me that I dropped your story for so long. No matter now! I'm back! And so glad to be. I re-read the previous 20 chapters and they were almost like a first read. I so enjoyed it all again and got very wound up emotionally. I don't know of another writer who succeeds so well at touching the emotions as you do. Sometimes that can become somewhat of an overload, but somehow you balance that. This story is such a beautiful exploration of an amazing relationship which you so successfully portray. I love the way you show their intimacy, not mincing words or pictures. It is very erotic and yet so beautiful too. And then their interaction with each other and the understanding they show each other is so enticing, so inspiring. You explore this relationship so deeply and so expressively, and make it an amazing example of true love. Thank you, Gary, for sharing this story which really is more than just a story. It's a lesson or series of lessons in what it means to be in a committed relationship and it does that in such a wonderful way. I'm so very glad to be back into it.

Looking forward to the session/s with Dr Walker. I love reading them! There was a lot of humour in this chapter which was great. Megan and Matt's date was a real mix, but nicely handled. Loved the "friend"! I think this will be great for Matt and that he will learn much about himself and girls as a result of this relationship. Thomas is really so very serious. Sorry he has lost Colt (at least I think he has) but in the long run I think it is best for him to move on. Colt is too much of a wild card. I don't think Thomas and Andy would work at all, except for a one night stand maybe, and though Colt and Andy might burn bright together I think they would singe each other badly. I see Matt and Thomas making a great couple, but not at Andy's expense - that would be too tragic! Andy is really in love with Matt and Matt needs to come back to him in his own good time.

My wish is that Matt and Andy will ultimately end up partners in life, as this is where they are hopefully writing from. So I hold out for that, romantic as it is. I see Matt as the stable, solid one who makes sensible decision and Andy as the unpredictable, impulsive one, though folk seldom stay in character, even in real life. Lol! So glad Andy is going back to Walker and do hope this will help him get to grips with where he is and what he wants. The phone call at the start of this chapter had me in hoots of laughter. Loved it! Thomas and Colt's parting of the ways is sad, as Colt comes to grips with some home truths and perhaps faces for the first time that Thomas might not be there for him when he's finished "soaring". But that's life, as they say! Roll on the story!

You are revealing some secrets in your comments! Lol! I think if some people knew I read these kinds of stories (and loved them) they would be very shocked. Lol! So glad that you can share and I can read without worrying too much about those that would be shocked. Flying the coop might refer to pigeons rather than chickens. Lol! Chickens pretty much stay on the ground. Hahaha! I must say, you do capture the ways and thought of these youngsters so well. At times I want to bang their heads together to put sense in them, but at others I'm amazed by their wise and mature thinking. This is all true of young people! Andy is so flippant so much of the time and I think his attitude is likely to lead him, as we've seen already, into lots of trouble. His humour makes up for this so one can't help liking him, though he really is too much at times. I sometimes wonder that Matt puts up with him at all. Matt is so different in how he goes about things and is a very likeable, sensible young man, as is Thomas. I do wonder though how Matt will fare with Megan. He's always been curious about girls and a fling with Megan would help him decide where he is in his sexual orientation and what he wants. Very intriguing.

Can't believe I have been out of it this long - nearly 6 months! Lol! But glad to be back and getting involved in the knots these youngsters are so intent on tying, just as we all do. Lol! Yes, Thomas is wise to let Colt go as holding him would ultimately lose him. If he comes back he will come back wiser and stronger and ready for a meaningful lasting relationship. Very little from Matt or Andy in this chapter so look forward to much more from them and where they at now.

I rather disappointed that you didn't at least finish with Matt's date with Megan. Now we are really left hanging about that and whether there's anything in it. Megan is showing a great sense of balance and maturity. I'm really glad she wants to be Thomas' friend and Thomas will really benefit from her friendship. He needs that. Colt is likely to have a fling with Zoe. I seen no alternative here unless he totally found the kiss repulsive, which I can't believe since they took so long to emerge. And Thomas will need to let him go, for a while at least, if not permanently. And now Andy is off on another sex adventure. Oh dear! As Matt says there's this insanity of repeating things and expecting different results. I think the only thing that would save Andy from his sexual quest is Matt, and Matt is not ready to be tied down in one big knot! Lol! He likes lots of knots to deal with. Lol! Seems I'm caught up again. Always a little disappointing catching up, as now there's the wait for the next chapter. And things are still not clear from Colt or Matt's side about where they stand. Colt is going for it quite seriously it seems. Poor Thomas! He's really not enjoying this at all, but maybe Colt is not the guy for him. In one of the reviews I think someone suggested he could do better, and there's a truth in that. And Matt is still left not really knowing what he wants. It will be good for him to explore things with Megan and after Thomas I think Megan is going to be very available for Matt. She's lucky to have Matt interested in her as Matt is a gentleman and won't just use her and fling her aside. At least I don't think so. Andy seems to really want Matt quite badly, but he's such a horn-dog and can't resist Ashton. He also badly wanted Colt, but managed to resist him. I think Matt is right not to have a relationship that is closed with Andy. Neither of them is really ready for that, and as you have suggested, it might not even happen, at least not on a permanent basis. Still a lot of unanswered questions. Look forward to the next chapter.

Is the quote from ES you? Andy is being Andy and he gets it off before any of the others do, though he's the last to find a partner, as it were. You keep your characters so in character. Great to see the interaction between him and Matt over the description of what happened. Very funny, though at Matt's expense. Lol! Colt and Thomas are a good counter foil for Andy and Matt and seeing Thomas wrestle with the whole issue of a date with Megan and over Colt and Zoe is amusing, though sad too. He could lose Colt, but I don't think he will. Colt is too into gay sex to forget about Thomas, even if he does turn out to be bi. I think Matt might well be bi. I think that must be so confusing and difficult at the best of times, but when you are a teen it must really compound all the confusion of life and trying to find a way through it all. Thanks for the chapter.

Slow and easy! Nothing much happened! Lol! So that was a little disappointing. Is Megan saving herself for Thomas? I really expected her to come on to Matt big time as she surely can't think anything much will come of her and Thomas even if she does persuade him to try sex with her, which I doubt he will. But with Matt it could be more than a game and it seems they both like each other, a lot! And Zoe and Colt had the breaks put on, but I think they could find a way round that. If Zoe is clever she could really win this game hands over as Colt is so so ready to try anything. If she holds off she is just playing into Megan's hands and allowing her to control the game. It is quite a laugh really - bit like a soapie! Lol! Keep it rolling!

Well, you sure did the teaser thing again so we have to wait for the next chapter (though I'm late so no waiting. Lol! One of the advantages of reading it after a good bit has been written!) Love the build up, so next chapter better be good! Lol! And Matt and Andy were quite a hoot. Matt is so devilishly holding Andy at bay and giving him a bit, but really leading him nowhere too. He's naughty! And Andy is hoping he's done what he can to circumvent Matt's falling into Megan's clutches, though I really do doubt that. Matt has always had an attraction to the girls and needs to find out how far it takes him. Is he bi or is he just curious? He needs to know and his dating Megan will be the way to find out. So looking forward to knowing myself how this turns out. But here is another teaser that you will play out to the full keeping us all on hooks while you play us out at your leisure.
