With too short/could have had a lot more in it, do you mean it should have more words describing the same things, or not stopping where I did but narrate further (basically also have chapter 21 in it?)Cody: Hehe, well he can't read Josh's mind, so it's not his fault. I agree though, Ethan is more likely to be interested in Josh - that is, if he knows Josh might be interested in him. ;3 That Jacob didn't tell Ethan might has various reasons. They aren't the kind of guys to talk about everything all the time. Also, they didn't have that much time to talk at all since Josh told Jacob. I think that if Jacob had wanted to tell someone about Josh and maybe even talk about it because he doesn't know how to react, or just get an opinion, or whatever, then he would probably talk to Sarah. I don't know why but it just feels better that way. One reason might be just how much teasing he might have to possibly fear to receive from Ethan if he has a gay twin (and hence must be gay, too ) I actually do consider having Jacob talking about this with Sarah at some point in the story (when doing the final edot) and that could chance some minor things in how she acts... not sure about that yet, though. Hehe I'm sorry. As for your question: I didn't really want to spend too much time describing the layout, distances, direction they walk in etc. They were walking in the general direction of where Conrad was hanging out. So they were actually about as close to him as to Ian. Also, Ian being in the water and Conrad being on the ground did give him a height advantage there, so he's more likely to see what's going on than Ian.

Though maybe I just need to involve her more... Ian: I agree, he's awesome! Conrad: Well I guess you saw a start to this issue in chapter 21. It remains to be seen how things will turn out in the long run. Mr. Adams: Hehe, the theory about him being gay is rather popular among my German readers (yes, I publish the story in two languages simultaneously) Philip: He's scary, isn't he? Still a mystery though. Some people are absolutely convinced that he's just presented in the wrong light and actually a good guy. Well, maybe they just don't want to see it, or maybe they are right, who knows. One way or the other, I promise it will come out some time soon.

Okay, one reply to all the reviews up to here. That makes it easier. I love how you share your observations and thoughts. I plan to do a major edit to this story at some point and reviews like these help a lot with planning something like that. Though mostly, you show me that I was pretty successful in getting the reader where I want him to be. (hehe) I must refrain myself from writing too much, lest I spoiler. I will say this much though, you are very perceptive. Cody and causing problems? Oh yes, in a way he does. Philip causing problems... you will be surprised just how much. It will all come within the next chapters... I'm looking forward to reading more from you tomorrow (or whenever you get to reading again)

Once again a great chapter! The whole thing with Deon is kinda just sad. So is the thing with Neil. Even though they won the game, the whole chapter seemed kind of depressive. ^^ I once again spend most of my time thinking about Neil. I really hope that things will work out without any major drama, and that it will all be good in the end. I kinda don't see how you could get there, though - at least not yet.

Haha, that sounds crazy. Reminds me a bit of Mark Arbour's Chronicles of an Academic Predator, though it's much worse there. People have tried to create family trees for the family in question and horribly failed. There are many reasons why Jacob might not know. Sometimes the simplest explanation are the right ones. It's gonna a long time before we'll find out about that, though. :3

Many people have speculated about what exactly happened back when they were given up for adoption. My lips have remained sealed. I'm still not sure I will actually reveal it. But good thoughts on that!I really liked the eye color. Some people said the same as you, others disagreed. :3 It was actually coincidence that I chose such an unusual word. I was looking for blue-green on my dictionary and saw that there's a fancy word for it. And sometimes with fancy words, I just can't help myself.

Wow, I haven't been around in forever... it's great though, chances are, I don't have to wait as long for the next chapter as usually. ;D Anyway, this was awesome! Some of it was a bit of a repetition of what happened before but it made things easier to understand and all... Shay does seem to become more and more self-confident, doesn't he? It really seems like a major change, but maybe that's just because it's so long ago that I read the last part... Either way, I like the way things are going... I'm finally back after a looong summer break! It's great to read several updates at once. The story is great, there is so many different things happening, I don't even know what to comment on... I am a bit disappointed that Liam is still being an asshole, but then again, just because someone is gay doesn't mean they're a nice person. It's rare to have a gay bully in stories... I don't know whether to feel sorry for Neil or worry about what will happen once he meets his idol... he is kinda creepy^^ Anyway, looking forward to more!
