  1. To quote "Dharma" by Sebastian Yatra: Yo que soy un cabron, que hice pa' merecerte. With followers like you I can't lose/
  2. His plans at the time of the interview were to remain in Mexico and eventually return to school. Running for office is probably not in the foreseeable future as far as he's concerned. However, once back in the US, he and Owen will begin outlining the path to the White House. I have that conversation outlined.
  3. And the best part is what he said is true. There was no need for him to call Northman a flaming butthole; Joe figure it out on his own. OFF TOPIC Just as Katie Mulcahey (Carson Sawyer's friend from Idaho), Joe Huard's named after someone I knew in college. A fraternity brother.
  4. I'm certain there are others who do not fawn over CJ, but those who interact with him end up with a positive opinion of him. Northman, unfortunately, feels threatened by a rookie with so much going for him.
  5. LMAO I WILL start a story with that line before the year's over.
  6. One of my favorite lines in this chapter was Simmone telling CJ it took a village to win an Oscar, but he's the mayor. I wanted her to foreshadow the future without realizing it. CJ's aware of his assets but has yet to weaponize them. I pity the fools who'll run against him.
  7. LMAO Minuscule? Greedy sod! At one point, I was hounded by reporters covering something I was involved with. Unlike CJ, I had no plans to run for office, so I never kept in touch. Some of CJ's actions are based on those experiences.
  8. Somebody better reply. I can't because of my contract with GA. LOL
  9. Certain stories I do not post on Fridays, so people miss them. You should follow me so you receive notifications whenever I post something new. Let me know what you think of those short stories.
  10. Thank you. Fleshing main characters out and constantly moving the story forward is always a goal. CJ's measured response to the questions about Northman proves he has matured in the nearly 10 years we've known him.
  11. I think I've been very good at not revealing what actually happens over the past 3 years. Ain't gonna start with those spoilers now. LOL
  12. Careful while traveling between Mexico and Spain. I think I've muddled my Miami accent with all these new characters.
  13. Evert Friday until we leave Mexico! Does anybody remember where we go then?
  14. CJ's future comes into focus a bit more whenever he faces challenges and opportunities. I was never as in command during press interactions as he is. I keep trying to have him learn from my mistakes.
  15. Have you read these?
  16. It was a dark stormy night...
  17. I have one of those! But it's small, takes up half my left biceps. That one had to hurt like hell.
  18. LMAO Just wait until you read how she uses all those traits to get her way.
  19. As I told Kitt, they need their ancient biker friend to step in.
  20. This was written months ago, and I updated it with a reference to Ukraine after Russia's invasion. Interestingly, I didn't have to change anything else, I was happy what I'd written fit in so well with current events.
  21. LMFAO Maybe he should record them and have their friend in South Florida transcribe them.
  22. Thanks, bud. You were up early today.
  23. Thank you! CJ's life is a series of event shaping his beliefs and actions. They will all play a part in who he becomes. At 24, he's still a kid. I believe people like him, who always try to do the right thing, exist. The accompanying notoriety may at times be a pain but with Owen's help he'll harness it to help him reach his goals.
  24. Me? Poetry? LMAO That's as likely as me writing love stories. Interestingly, one of my main characters turned 45 yesterday and another one turns 30 tomorrow. Something about fellow Taurus men...
