Kinda busy spoiling Liebe, but I'll see what I can do.
-
I had him appear on Fox during the 2016 presidential campaign. The host was the mildest one but the other side's representative CJ verbally obliterated. I'm itching to do it again.
-
The image is showing this morning.
-
Yes, just noticed. It`s a picture of President Zelensky on the phone. The caption reads: Hello? Will Smith? Did you hear what President Putin said about your wife?
-
Rant? What rant? I see someone with an opinion expressing it. My reaction is supportive of Smith, but I probably wouldn't go as far as CJ would. He'd probably offer to hold Rock down so a better slap could be delivered. I mean, with how protective he's of his family and with his temper, I could see him reacting in a stronger fashion that Smith. CJ would have probably interrupted the show and told Rock if he ever said anything about his spouse again they would need DNA samples to identify the remains. I'm thinking of writing a couple of one shots (I've done it before) featuring CJ being interviewed on a conservative station by Pucker Tarslon and in a Senate confirmation hearing when he's appointed ambassador.
-
And Owen's usually around to deliver. I'm playing with fire here. One of my brothers sent me this:
-
I just like him because his arms are inked!
-
@dughlas Didn't CJ win the dick comparison? LOL
-
Not during the initial roll out taking place now. Myr has asked me to write a premium story, so maybe at some point. I'm holding out for my own channel. We're thinking 4.95 a month with limited commercial interruptions, or 9.95 for ad free.

Thanks for teaching me a new word!

One reason CJ and Chipper share a special bond. Sir Kent's been around long enough he can probably spot talent a mile away. Someone with that much experience could prove to be an invaluable sounding board. Here's an LA tidbit: CJ and Owen get to meet Meryl and Kevin Easton and Kevin has dialogue lines! Oh, and they meet Brock too!

LMAO And spiders. Light comes from only a small high-on-the-wall window, and food's slop.

That, plus the fact you're a no-nonsense kind of girl.

If you remember Hail to the Chief, we found out CJ held positions in Havana, Washington, and New York before being elected president. During all those stops he'll need to hire staff. Carter would fit in nicely in any of them.

Chuckles are always a good reaction. I do try to infuse humor in most chapters. Next one's got more than its share.
-
Gee, Carter's already popular and we haven't seen him in too much action. He'll orchestrate CJ's next public splash and in the process annoy Northman. Coming up sometime soon. Yeah, I can see him as a director of communications or press secretary.
-
You forgot he just met the Australian ambassador who want him and Owen to join him for dinner. Three ambassadors standing around with CJ and Owen drinking. I want his life.

I'll probably not live/write long enough to write everything I have in mind. But before I run out of ink, I'd like everyone to 'see' what I do when I think about CJ and his cohorts. And in case the end comes unexpectedly, readers will at least have an idea of where I was taking all these characters. I mentioned recycling characters from earlier tales, and that's now fun. The latest I'm bringing back is Montana Wild. A carpenter who was one of Danno's boy toys, he worked on Danno's loft and eventually built all the cabinetry for Everhope's wine cellar. He'll be back with a juicier part when we remodel. How's that for a little look ahead?

and in low ones too! I've worn cowboy boots with a tux before and I see CJ as doing the same with motorcycle boots.

@Kitt Why am I not surprised by your view. I did say if anyone's gonna slap somebody to make it count. I read an article about Will and Jada's marriage a long time ago and they admitted to difficulties but said divorce would never be an option. I have a feeling there was a lot more to Will's slap that one stupid joke. Rock should have known better. If you pick on someone, be ready for them to pick back at you.

Stop hogging the party favors! I'm less and less concerned with chapter length with every story. To quote @Mann Ramblings a chapter should be as long as it needs to be. (I haven't heard from him in over a week and I'm hoping to elicit a reaction) He did complain the last chapter he edited for me was too long. LOL

Ding, ding, ding. We have a winner! We know CJ holds several positions before he takes over the White House, and all will require he hire staff. I think of his entire life as job interviews for future aides/associates. Hell, in the next chapter he spends time with his future National Security Advisor!

Carter's not done pissing Northman off. What's coming will bother our intransigent supervisor even more. I tried to make him play nice, but he reverts to being a jerk quickly. Considering Ukraine's in the news these days, I think its appropriate I restate Sir Kent's name and appearance were inspired by this man: https://www.cnn.com/2019/10/15/politics/who-is-george-kent/index.html

Thanks, Chris. I do try to balance family and professional growth in what I write and I'm glad it comes through.

@Clancy59 Very well put. CJ's not going to blow his own horn (until he runs for office), but he's learning how to get things done by pulling people together. The fact he interacts just as well with a Republican woman (Katie) as with a Liberal democrat (Carson) is proof he can build bridges. In today's political climate he's an aberration, but I have to hope someone at least a little bit like him will surface. And since he'll be in LA for the Oscars, he'll get to witness Will Smith's slap. I'm sure that will be filed away as something to learn from. If you're gonna slap someone in public, make it count. and make sure you can spin the hell out of it in the press.
