Good description. CJ's entire life's a series of experiences that turn him into the man he becomes. I once beta read/edited for someone who had continuity issues and wrote about a weekend fishing that covered 2 and a half weeks. I think of that often while trying to ensure if I contradict something I wrote before, there's a valid reason for it. And just as I recycled Spike in this story, I'll do the same with other characters. SPOILER - CJ and Owen will attend weddings in Rhode Island and Michigan during the summer of 2022. Imagine how many people he'll have in his collection in a few years.

Thanks for reading, bud.

The Squad started with a few high schoolers and grew to include others. With even more in the periphery. Maybe they're beyond 'childish' group names and tattoos, but the friendships are real and everlasting. CJ will slowly realize he can use his popularity to advance his goals. I don't think of him as conceited either; he's realistic about his looks and abilities. Let's hope he knows when to weaponize those attributes and how not to allow fame to interfere with the ultimate goal.

And you know those are coming. My recent message to you's proof I'm always thinking ahead to what CJ will do with the people he meets. One thing I like about writing CJ's I can have him acting all grown and sophisticated at a diplomatic reception, but as we'll see in the next chapter he can deal just as well with normal (common) people.

LOL Stephen may be deemed as an inconvenience soon. I'm still wondering how CJ will treat him when he writes his book about their time in Mexico. I hope he names names in it. People skills may be innate in him, but he's bulking up those muscles with every interaction. He'll convince Mexico to become states one of these days. Next up, Canada.

LMAO - I haven't written an evil cliffhanger in ages! Except Chipper's fans who call themselves Chips. LOL Not in this book. There's nothing special about his dislike of CJ, but we'll talk about it once CJ, Owen, and Liebe are back in Washington. It'll be part of dealing with what happens to them.

@scrubber6620 I'll repeat myself: CJ's a sponge. He's not afraid of learning from others. Spoiler - Sir Kent will definitely return. As for Luz Moreno, I have him penciled in as being elected President of Mexico in 2036. I plan a few more dinner parties while in Mexico and once they return to Washington. They do have an interesting assortment of friends and acquaintances.

CJ has confidence in himself but praise makes him uncomfortable. It's not even the publicity associated with his actions that bothers him. But when someone like Sir Kent, who he seems to look up to, commends him... He and Owen have both said it before, what they do's nothing special. They see a need and try to fix the problem. It's what everyone else would do, right? Move along, people. Nothing to see here. Good comment. It tells me my goal to make CJ less simplistic than he was as a teen is working.

Yeah, the first few months I kept the guys in Mexico, but the floodgates are now open. Next trip will keep them in Mexico, but they'll be surrounded by Air Force cadets. As for the cling-ons. take a look at the title of the series grouping spin offs/in. I recently changed the title to The Squad+ (thanks for the inspiration Disney, ESPN, and CNN. It already includes stories about Brett and Cesar and the football players. I'll be adding a new one sometime this summer.

It's a special talent Northman has. Considering how long Mark's been at it with his series, I'm not surprised he's used a few quotable words. Glad you enjoyed it, Jose.

That's the goal, Frank. I try to write entertaining stories that leave readers in a good mood.

You won't read it for a bit, but wait until you hear the conversation between Chipper and CJ when they get together to celebrate their 30th. Instead of comparing dick size they compare awards won. Excellent! I see Kent serving as a mentor even after he retires. Considering his age he'll be gone when CJ's elected, but his lessons will live on. This was a simple case of 'know your enemy.' Yep, we're going to LA, but we knew that from Ranger. I think y'all will enjoy how I reworked/expanded some of what I previously wrote.

“Hey, CJ. What are you doing down here?” Simmone appeared genuinely happy to see him. “I had lunch at my desk today, so I had a little time and wanted to say hello.” “Let me save this.” Motioning for him to take a seat, the human resource officer typed away at the keyboard for a moment before turning her attention to him. “How was Miami?” “Fantastic. Great weather, so we spent a lot of time around the hotel pool.” “Did Liebe enjoy herself?” CJ gave her his best look

Well, thread's hit the fan. As much as I hope not too many die at Pinnacle, I'm rooting for thread in the fight with Vkkel. Stupidity should lead to pain.

CJ and Peter could go at it again... I did mention this story included two Chipper concerts, right?

Weekly Wrap Up (Mar. 27 to Apr. 2nd)
Carlos Hazday commented on Cia's blog entry in Gay Authors News
East coast beaches are warmer. I froze my butt swimming in SoCal in August. However, a certain character of mine would respond with this clip. Wanna take a guess at who it is, @Reader1810? -
Havana, Washington, D.C., New York City, and the White House are all possibilities. I'll be recycling more than her from this story.
-
CJ earned the right to be called an asshole in this chapter.
-
They're on their way. Adele just went through the IVF procedure last week. Maybe they're on my mind because I recently wrote something when they're 4 and Liebe's 7.
-
I love it when readers carry on the theme of a chapter. Peter's a nervous shortie and CJ's a tall dick.
-
@Anton_Cloche I think between Northman, Domogarov, , and , I have plenty of antagonists to give us shades of darkness. No need to push it.

I know, right? The little shit.

Brian/Brion will show up in multiple stories starting this summer.

Simmone's definitely smarter than the average third-grader. I can see her being part of an Abello administration.
