CJ's the one with a neat beard most of the time, unlike the author who's been letting his grow in hopes of playing Santa this year. Chipper i see as been scruffy all the time. Probably manicured for TV appearances. Twenty years ago, when I was hitting circuit parties, EVERYONE shaved their chest. I've never had a lot of it and was afraid it wouldn't come back if I followed the herd.
@alexlittel THANK YOU!
I smiled through each notification tracking your progress through the story.
Although it's fiction, I try to ground my stories in real life. For the record, there are only 2 stories of mine with a Temporary Hold tag. One's a series of vignettes tracking someone's motorcycle trip, which I'll add to when the mood strikes. Each chapter's self contained though, so they can be read as they stand. The other one's Thiago's story. I had to write the opening chapter as my reaction to someone's actions and the BLM movement. I'll write the remainder of the story as soon as I get done with a couple others.
Weinstein was definitely on my mind. Singer I though was off the hook. Didn't the guy suing him retract it and later got in trouble with the law himself?
I gave Chipper the same talk I gave my nieces at my brother's request: If you're going to indulge you better trust your supplier and be aware of possible consequences. He may have indulged with the boys his own age, but a white powder provided by an older man?
Was your question about Bliss in the previous chapter satisfactorily answered?
Tony Stark? I think he's dead until the next reboot.
I took huge liberties with the show's format, I wasn't trying to write actual fan fiction, but both on TV and on GA direct competition happens only twice. From now on it's a free for all with viewer voting deciding who advances.
I'm still waiting for my Zoom meeting with Brandon and Austin.
I can imagine those firefighters partied hard once they rested a bit. That would have been a sight to see and enjoy. Loved the debriefing, but Thorin's an ass. He acts up again, someone should rip his throat out.
A Wind Bender loose in the world is scary.
@BlueWindBoy
Good observation!
Chipper's definitely torn, not knowing where home is. He'll coast along for a few years nomad-style, living out of hotels or staying with friends. He'll discuss planting roots during his 30th birthday party. Anything else I say right now would be a big spoiler.
Milhous wouldn't have recognized sincerity if it slapped him on the face. The fact he considered it an act isn't surprising.
@BlueWindBoy
I read this chapter yesterday and I did a double take on that phrase. And I wrote the damn thing!
Not this time. Just a fact for singers, actors, and athletes.
LMAO - Each book it gets harder to write sex scenes; it feels perverted to intrude in my family's privacy. I think I wrote a more detailed straight one in another book.
It's Ajax and Marina and Alexis and Marianne.
Unfortunately some people's egos get in the way. Mine's big enough, but I try to ignore it and pay attention when someone's trying to help me. It's one of the perils of a place like GA which frowns on anything but positive feedback. I rarely care enough to spend the extra time needed to compose a PM. If someone can't handle having errors pointed out, I'll just move on to the next story.
That's my attitude!
I know no matter how well I may write, multiple sets of eyes help make any story better. Most people who think self-editing's enough are foolish.
Thank you!
If the stars align, I'd love to post twice a week with the next story. Chapters are all under 3k words right now, although I'm sure that will change. It all depends on the number of chapters entirely ready by the time I start sharing.
I may have posted the wrong photo. His new boat's costing him 1/2 billion.
As for the cost of Ritch's car, think about it this way, had he attended a quality university for the same degree in Aeronautical Engineering, the dads would have spent more than that in tuition, room, and board. I say they got a bargain.
And he wields it with abandon and impunity.
That's something else I've learned from him. Ask @WolfM or @astone2292, they've both suffered through my nitpicking.
I'm writing, I'm writing.
My Friday routine of posting when I wake up and replying to comments throughout the day is also interrupted. Unfortunately, I have yet to master writing multiple quality stories concurrently so there will usually be a gap between stories.
