Some of my 'purist' biker friends, who think anything but blue jeans and black leather is not appropriate, have given me crap for wearing white 501s while riding. Two intersting items in that photo. First, the school definitely influenced the attire. How many 19-year-olds go out with peers dressed in suits or coat and ties? Second, I was a trendsetter. Before it was a thing, I was sticking my tongue out for pictures. LOL

April 23, 1977 My girlfriend threw a surprise cocktail party in her dorm room before friends took me out for dinner to celebrate my 19th birthday.

I never did, but back then my dad insisted on fairly short hair. After my first semester in college I had a huge afro and a pornstache.

Dry shampoo is a thing. Google it. I do know it's used the way I described by performers when they want to change hairstyles between numbers. It helps clear out oils.

Parker Owens is responsible for the lyrics. All I did was write the fluffy stuff around them.

I've enjoyed working with Parker for a couple of years so he was my choice for writing a song even before I started working onthe story. Considering how much he has going on his life, I'm still amazed he was able to squeeze this out. I look forward to future joint endeavors. And since we're talking collaborations, make sure you checkout the December Ask an Author. Several takes on crossovers from a varied group of authors.

LOL. Should we let readers know I approached you last year about the song? Or that you delivered it to me at the beginning of 2019 when I was just starting to write the story? When do you think we'll have a recording to share with your fans?

Although Chipper performed last in the initial rotation, he had the second spot in the subsequent one. The time between numbers would be limited. Before taking off the tuxedo, he retrieved his phone and posted a picture with a three-word message: VOTE FOR ME! He added a few hashtags and a link to the show’s website. Close. At least half the year but a couple of months would see only a short story one week an nothing the remaining ones. I could crank out enough of them to post every week, but I'm a believer in quality over quantity. One waiting to be written's going to require a lot of research into the Air Force Academy so that will slow me down.

LMAO I have 3 completed stories, one at 90% and two others somewhere around 75% complete. You may be sick and tired of reading my work by the time I get done posting them all.

I've stripped the story down to the bare bones, but I won't make a habit out of it. Even if I do have a tendency to leave open ended scenes before for readers to fill in the band. Let's see how you like the upcoming Christmas one.
