    Epilogue

I told someone else I'd just finished writing a chapter written in Australia. Thought of you while writing about the wine consumption during that episode. Tearing up is acceptable, I've done it to myself a few times while writing or reading over what I'd written. As for Georgetown, open up a bottle of Australian Verdehlo or Argentinian Malbec, kick off your shoes, and relax. It's going to be a while for Georgetown to post.

Give me your address and I'll send you a calendar as a present. Can't have you getting confused about the day of the week. Fear not, the orange goblin will play a part in Georgetown; can't have a story set in the real world without getting a chance to use covfefe in it. I want you to know your comments about visiting Washington and thinking of CJ during your trip gave me a thrill. The response to my description of places CJ visits make the research worth it!

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Ad infinitum. I do try to make the endings memorable. In this one, I wanted to channel some of CJ's speech at the end of Spring during the graduation party at Autumn Dingell's haouse. Damn, I'm wondering how she's doing in Michigan. Maybe we can ask Mann to stop by the University of Michigan campus and find out for us. Georgetown actually travels back in time and starts at the beginning of 2016 covering some things I left out of Walls. You'll be able to give me grief again, I'm tinkering with the format.again. Oh, wait, you meant the posting timetable and not the actual story. I get confused way too easy. Right then, so Georgetown will begin posting on

Thanks, mate! Sorry, I just finished writing a Georgetown chapter set in Australia so Oztrayan is on my mind. I hope I haven't screwed up my Oz sections too badly, although I'm certain I made Australian readers cringe here and there. It was all done in love. For your wonderful country and its wonderful people.

Thank you, Parker. Love the praise since it comes from such a talented individual. My little universe isn't perfect but maybe it'll give everyone a glimpse of what can be achieved if we stand up for what we believe in. Yeah, I know, my social conscience's always pushing me to preach but hopefully it was done in an entertaining way.

Damn 18yo kids think they're all grown up! LOL Thanks you, Dave. I think my story-telling has gotten better since Summer and technically this book in my opinion was much better than my early efforts. I hope I can continue growing and improving as an author and that future installments in this series provide enjoyment to readers.

@gazza456 You should experience 20+ thousand people shouting BULLSHIT! during a basketball game whenever a ref makes a qustionable call!

Thank you! I'll admit writing the final scene made me tear up. I do remember my own graduation from high school and how my friends and I couldn't wait for the next chapter to begin. You've been around from the beginning, hope you've enjoyed the changes I engineered for CJ along the way. I have big plans for the boy. He'll be back stronger than ever in Georgetown.

Thanks, Chris. It's good to have you on board. Working on Georgetown already so there's plenty more on the way.

Hoya Saxa, Hoya Saxa, Hoya Saxa... Start practicing, that's the traditional cheer during Georgetown University Hoyas sporting events. We know CJ's an athletic supporter so there'll be some of those in his future Thank you for reading and for leaving a comment. I'm smiling and loving the fact you and so many others have enjoyed the story.

I LOVE the row of emojis! I'm uncertain how long the wait for the next book will be. I've completed the first section, three more to go, but posting won't begin until the entire thing's written and edited. It may be a while since there are other people involved in the process. Thank you, my friend.

Wow, JayT, are you flirting with me? I hope so, you're cute Thank you! Better than others, you know what the schedule's like. It's not entirely in my hands. But I'm working on it, bud. This morning I've started writing scenes in 2017. Catching up to myself!

CJ's maturing and becoming comfortable with acknowledging his feelings. Spring break's going to be a pain in the neck, it seems Georgetown and George Mason's vacations don't ever coincide. I may have to send CJ off on his own! Nadine will be back. Thanks for the continued support, I'll keep trying to make each chapter interesting enough so the most recent one's always your favorite.

By now you know I draw inspiration from real world events when writing CJ stories. The cop stop in this chapter owes a lot to the multitude of incidents similar to the Castile one but also to converstions with black friends. For someone with white skin and green eyes like me, it's hard to comprehend how people meant to protect us can instill such fear. One incident which was uppermost in my mind was the shooting of a man here in South Florida, a caretaker for an autistic individual, who was shot by a police officer while lying on the ground with his hands raised. Without passing judgement on specific instances, I wanted to show the frame of mind of many with darker skin. Racism sucks as much as homophobia!

    Epilogue

The Walls’ graduating class met on school grounds prior to the commencement exercise. The boisterous students donned their caps and gowns―under the watchful eyes of faculty members―amidst promises of life-long friendships and frequent communications. CJ suspected he would not be seeing a lot of the young men and women again, but he knew the handful he was closest to would be around him for the rest of his life. Although the graduates would be allowed to sit anywhere within the section reser

LOL Harley has become such a fan favorite I may have to rethink tha motorcycle accident. Then again, if he's laid up in bed unable to move much, some of his fans may be willing to lend him a helping hand

I thought about that when I sent you a message this morning! Trust me on this, you're not alone in thinking of them as family. When the shooting at the baseball practice this week happened, I inmediately thought that was the type of place CJ could have been at and wondered if he would have remembered to carry his gun. I was worried about a damn fictional character! Ignore me. I'm nuts!

Wow! Thanks! When I decided to do a chapter a month I ended up forcing myself to write in a more precise way. I thank Mann for constantly pushing me to 'simplify' and in the process forcing me to write what I feel it's a cleaner story. You're right, each of those phone calls, under the guise of graduation greetings, allowed me to share information in an abbreviated manner. Some of it helped close open threads and a few allowed me to set the stage for future events. The entire Squad was there in person since this book was about them. Some other characters I wanted to include but ended up settling for a mention. The chapter just got too long!

LOL - If you go for a ride on his motorcycle, be careful where you put your hands. It's bad form to hold on to the rider's clutch crotch unless invited to.

I can't very well write a review on my own story! The review feature's activated when the story's marked complete (I guess.) I recently wrote one and it was good to point out good and not so good things. The author wrote me a nice reply, than goodness he wasn't one of those who can't handle negative comments.

LMAO! You want me to send Harley over with a little something, something to help you relax until then?
