  1. @Kitt I'm hoping I can meet some of the guys when I'm in DC! If I find out whose legs those are I'll let you know. @mollyhousemouse Breathe, Molly. Breathe... Didn't Mann say something about rugby games being the equivalent of soft porn? Y'all really need to check a match out sometime soon!
  2. This is the promo card for the 2017 Sequins & Scrums event held by the Washington Scandals Rugby Football Club.
  3. Excellent! I look forward to seeing this one develop. Haven't enjoyed my first exposure to someone I've not read before this much in a long time.
  4. The "Proposal Booth" at Martin's Tavern in Georgetown. I'll take a better picture when I stop at the restaurant during my next trip to DC in April.
  5. I just finished reading Scribe's Vegas novels, I'm ready to introduce the mobster angle! Cesar as the Godfather and Brett as second and chief enforcer? Reading those books was scary. I realized why that one reader said CJ reminded him of the young character in those books. DC and politics instead of Vegas and gambling but their personalities are similar.
  6. I'll repeat what I just said to @mollyhousemouse Groan!
  7. TImely! I had a reader send me an e-mail this weekend claiming I was forcing him to keep his dictionary handy while he read my stuff. All because I used limerence. @MichaelS36 I'll see your petrichor and raise you a vellichor. (I'll show you mine if you show me yours LOL) And I'll match moist with aquiver. Other favorites: Effervescence Nefarious Ineffable Magnanimous
  8. The segment between the Suez canal and Australia kept me up all night. I know I skipped parts to read ahead because the tension was too much. I swore I'd go back and read those chapters again at a slower pace but I've never had the guts.
  9. I think it took me a week to binge read that sucker! I don't recall much from that time period in my life...
  10. @Defiance19 I think you're lumping me in with those bloody authors who write cliffhangers and stuff. I'm innocent!
  11. Set up? Are you implying I'm devious? That this is the calm before the storm? That's it, next chapter it's sex, drugs, and EDM! Did you enjoy your getaway?
  12. Sorry for bringing the average down. I've had complaints my stories don't include enough real sex scenes. I don't do angst either! All my men are good-looking and all my teens are above average...
  13. I previously posted this one but it disappeared because of how I did it. This is a real image of fireworks over the Sydney Harbour Bridge on 31 December 2016
  14. Jake's a well written monologue from a conflicted young man. A rollercoaster of emotions that will make you smile, give you hope, and more. A great read.

    Rapprochement

    Ditto.

    Tough Love

Tough love combined with advice and encouragement are a powerful combination. You've created a good character in Adam.

    Expectations

The sadness is overwhelming. This is the type of story I'd normally stop reading but your writing kept me going. It's magnificent!
  18. Not much I enjoyed in this one although a certain segment of readers will. Overly melodramatic for my taste which combined with mediocre technical writing, makes it not something I'll ever read again.
  19. Cute short story with a great twist at the end. The old saying about being careful of what we ask for or wish definitely applies. A quick read that will make you smile.

  20. @BlindAmbition What? It's only like 250 named characters in the series! Most there's no need to remember but Kim's might be worth making note of. She'll show up again sometime soon.
  21. @BlindAmbition LMAO Harley's sex life seems to generate a lot of interest! Sorry but Kim Huang is a female. She was introduced in Walls as a younger student who served with CJ as co=chair of the school's GSA.
  22. @pvtguy Thanks, Tony. I try and the support team keeps me honest so a lot of the credit goes to them.
  23. I have a bunch of pictures I've used as inspiration or reference while writing Georgetown and I've been remiss in sharing them. They're now loaded into a photo service and I'll start sharing them here in the thread. @BlindAmbition Sorry about this JP but hopefully my descriptions have painted a clear enough picture for you. We'll start this gallery off with architectural renderings for Third Line Development's Tacoma neighborhood project. Rod and Taisha live in one of the townhouses in front of the apartment building.
