  1. Thank you! Enjoy the next two weeks and get ready for the next one. I think I accomplished my goals with this story. I wanted a feel-good time giving me a chance to focus on the characters and develop their personalities a bit more. One of my favorite bits was a twin doing push ups with his bits hanging out. I thought that was a good indication those two will be getting in trouble often. I'm not sure why my readers don't review or recommend my stories a lot, but as of this morning out of 15 recommendations, 15 highlighted characters, feel good, and humor. I wrote this one while finishing/posting the Mexico story and wanted something without the drama and the intrigue. I'm glad readers recognized my intent. Not sure I'll do any writing over the next two weeks, except when a scene won't leave me alone. Otherwise, I plan to outline the heck out of several works in progress.
  2. I think all three may wind up being grounded frequently. You're right, I see the twins as being the devious ones; Liebe will be more like CJ---a bull in a china shop. Appropriate since she's a Taurus.
  3. LMAO - Liebe asserts her independence early which Grandma won't always find to her liking. We'll see a bit of that in Capitol Hill when the Aussie grandparents visit.
  4. Yeah, no. I'm scared of writing the rest of their 2027 vacation. A 7 yo girl, a 2 yo girl, and 3 4 yo boys is just too much. Although I might consider a tiny story about those 5 plus, Fabricio, Carolina, and Raish at Disney World. Even with 6 adults watching over them, I fear for Mickey's sanity and safety.
  5. Hope you have a great Christmas and 2023 brings peace, health, and happiness. Give your little one an extra hug for me.
  6. Thanks, Wolf. If I haven't said it later, I love working with you. Thanks for helping make my stories better.
  7. I watched two basketball games with both being won by my teams--=the University of Miami Hurricanes and the NBA's Miami Heat. Got tired of the couch and the TV so skipped the third one. Good thing since the Miami Dolphins lost. LOL
  8. LMAO I thought it was the nurses going on strike.
  9. 23, cloudy, and sporadic rain here. Since my three favorite teams are all playing today, it's a couch-potato day with visits to GA between games.
  10. We definitely have different weather. Too hot to wear leather here except for a couple of months. December, January, and February are good ones. Otherwise, sweaty balls.
  11. I prefer thinking of it as smart marketing.

Forgot to mention the book after Newport will be set entirely in Alaska! Grab your parka!
  13. Mate, you haven't been paying attention, I mentioned this installment would be microscopic several times in previous comments. Furthermore, did you not get the memo? We do not discuss chapter length these days.
  14. @Clancy59 Come on! Not only did I say this would be the end in a previous comment, but I ran out of family members. You hit the nail on their parenting approach. Brett wanted them to do something simply because an adult says so, and even Cesar reproached him. Liebe's short description of her kidnapping also gave me the opportunity to have the fathers explain they explained things in age-appropriate comments but that the kid knew as they got older they would get further details. Grandma Pam will put her foot in her mouth again when she visits them in July 2022, so CJ and Owen might be a bit wary. Notice they're leaving the kids in Spencer and Tilda's care instead of Pam and Geoff's?
  15. And a wonderful Christmas to you! Thought of you recently while writing the description for the next story. it's full of Republicans. You may not like one of the scenes, but another one I'm pretty sure you will. LOL
  16. At this point, the kids are developing their personalities and it was fun to write how mischievous they can be. Not sure I'll use it, but there;s a scene I outlined about them being older and lying to CJ and Owen about what they planned to do one day. Instead of an outing with friends, they go out on a date to a fancy restaurant trying to impress their dates. CJ finds out and suspends their credit and debit cards. Imagine them trying to pay and their card being denied for the first time. They can be a pain sometimes because I have to consider them when writing, but they open possibilities for interesting stuff.

Thank you! My goal's to always make readers feel as if they're in the middle of the action.

I wanted Lucy to be between Harley and CJ personality wise. She won't talk as much as her brother but will be part of the banter when appropriate. I definitely did not want her to be the female appendage often portrayed by authors. Any appearances by her after this trip will reinforce she's more than a pretty face.

I hated it when teachers gave assignments to complete over the holidays!

That's too far in the future! My mind refuses to think about anything after this story. Well, I do want to write that Vegas party week in Novemeber 2027, but after that...
  22. I realize not everyone agrees with my approach, but I definitely like breaking up the series into different stories. While now and then we might end up with unanswered questions, I prefer to keep each entry to one or related events. You'll notice the next story expands on some of the things mentioned in Key West and Everhope.
  23. Same to you! Be back on January 1 for the next installment.
  24. And these people will still be traveling and having adventures.
  25. Thank you, my friend. I wanted to post this yesterday, but the daily limit forced me to delay it. It looks like Grandma Liston's being a pain again. I'm sure Liebe will put her in her place.
