  1. Me in class: *sneezes* Everyone else in class: *Noone cares* Popular guy in class:*sneezes* Everyone else in class: OH MY GOD, MAY THE GRACIOUS LORD HIMSELF BLESS YOU WITH DIVINE HOLY SPIRIT AND PROTECT YOU FROM THAT SNEEZE, AMEN!!!
  2. That would be brilliant but he wears a sling that goes round his neck, it's not an actual cast you can sign. Still, it would be awesome to just sneak a little flirtatious note on it I just have to come up with a strategy. The problem is he's two years younger than me in terms of the school system (for America it's grades but for us it's Years, I.e I'm Year 12, he's Year 10) It's quite a difference in the social aspect and different groups tend to not mix. However, I do have a friend who has a friend which is also my crushes friend...who knows?
  3. You sir, are a bloody legend! Maybe I can somehow try that using my awesome cunning ninja skills to devise a plan
  4. Today I saw my high school crush. I didn't talk to him obviously but I checked him out from a distance. He was gone for the entire time last week and I was starting to get worried that he moved away! But today, I saw him with his arm in a bandage. Awwwwwww.....he looked so cute even though he'd disfigured his arm which would've really hurt and it probably would've been a big mess. But the arm in the bandage looked cute, I thought. And that's what I wanted to share today. It's a pity I can't snap a picture of him and upload it here because it is illegal to GA. They think it's creepy. If you're wondering I'm not a perv. Most of the time.
  5. *I know right
  6. Lol Ike
  7. I think this represents how New Zealanders truly make their food. You'll love this.
  8. Oh yeah sorry guys. As my good friend drpaladin has just said, I didn't explain what howold.net actually does. Simply, you upload a picture of yourself or someone you know, and the computer guesses your age. The guessed age is the yellow boxed number above me and mums heads in the photo.
  9. Palmy North of course
  10. One day in New Zealand: Auckland Settlers: *Settles upon land sitting on 50 unpredictable volcanoes.* Wellington Settlers: *Settles at the bottom of north island where wind blows everyone over and every time it rains, the place floods.* Christchurch Settlers: *Settles on land above and close to undiscovered fault lines that has every potential to cause violent earthquakes and create tsunamis.* Dunedin Settlers: *Settles on uneven rolling hills, with climate so cold it snows ever season.* Palmerston North Settlers: *Settles on flat, decent land* All other New Zealand Settlers: Palmerston North? What a terrible place to settle. Who wants to live in a dump like Palmy?
  11. Can I just say why are we focusing 95% of the comments on me saying 'disclude'? Shouldn't it be on how ridiculous it is that someone as young as me is 34, which is older than my Mum's result? Geez, what a way to digress...
  12. Hi everyone, welcome to the self-interview! Thank you for joining me today as I talk to The_Jordanator about his story which is fast rising in popularity, Someone Like Me. Me: Thank you for agreeing to do this J: It's a pleasure. Me: The first question we want to ask you is not on your story, but for yourself. You're a new author to GA, and 16 years old which is quite young. You've also told us that you're bisexual as well. Have you ever been bullied for your sexuality? J: Well, no not really. I haven't told anyone I'm bisexual, apart from my parents and of course you wonderful people on here. Our family is religious, so we don't accept homosexuality because its not how God made us. So it's pretty hard for me, and they trying to stop my gay inclinations. However, it's hard not too when the heart feels the opposite. But no, I haven't been abused for being bisexual. Me: Intriguing. What is life like in New Zealand? J: For Americans, it would be a much prettier place with less sugar and more rain and wind. And heaps smaller too. Me: A very good summary there. Now, into your story - Someone Like Me. Firstly, congrats on the popularity it's been getting! J: Yeah thanks, I was hoping people would enjoy it. Me: And enjoy it we do. You've been getting reviews from a quite a lot of people too. People like Curti and drpaladin, Robert Rex, Scary, Clochette, AtrueFan...man, the list goes on. What do you think of all these reviews? J: I honestly appreciate every single one of them. Even a tiny review gives me a spurt of motivation to keep me going writing my story. It's what compells me to write. Without readers or reviews, you'd be lucky if the second chapter was published. Thanks to those guys so much. Me: Fantastic. You've also picked up an editor too? J. Yes, my man Lenny has offered to be my editor so that's what he's doing. I've recruited him since Chapter 5, and he does a wicked job looking through my work, making footnotes about things I could perhaps fix or improve. My writing isn't always perfect, but Lenny helps me get there. I'll look forward to working with him more. Me: Great stuff. What I find interesting about this story is that you've named the main character after yourself. Why's that? J: I've named the main character Jordan because one of the characters he has a crush on is also the name of a person I know in real life. If you've seen my forum topic entry 'What to do with that Crush', you'll find I talk about the crush I have at school. Jordan's crush will look and be exactly like my own crush, which is why it is fitting the main character is Jordan. However, I do not go through the same experience as Jordan does in the story. Me: Now we all want to know this, I think the fans of your story should be informed of the future of Someone Like Me. What can you tell us about where the story is heading and what we should look out for when we're reading the chapters? J: Okay, so at the moment the story has been setting itself up. You've been introduced to characters, some side mentioned but most the character Jordan has met. After the next 2 or 3 chapters, things will kick off with something handwritten. Along the way, there will be various points and events that will happen, leading to a climax. Now this climax will be big, and if you haven't picked it up already, it does occur at a particular future event, which is where the entire story leads. All I can say is brace yourselves. I just want to warn you that there most likely will be sexual content in my story, I'm a little shy on this subject but I'll do my best with it. I just wanted to warn you in case you'd be shocked with it. But that comes much later. As for what to look out for? I'd say particular characters. If you haven't already, Sean and Malachi are ones to watch. But you do not want to ignore Victor and Isabel Brooks, the parents of Jordan. Reviews have suggested this, and they are correct: Victor and Isabel are more than what they seem. And two other ones to keep in the back of your mind are James Pierce with his assertive son Patrick. There will be at least more from Patrick. Someone suggested calling him 'PeePee', and that has actually inspired me for something in the plot, so thank you to that person. Me: I'm sure were all looking forward to reading more about this. Do you know when Chapter Six is being published? J: Soon. It's still being written, but it's getting there. It should be done fairly soon as I said. Me: Okay, enough rambling on about your story. Thank you for joining us today, good to have a chat. J: Thanks you too. Now get the hell back into my body, alternate personality! — Got something to say about the interview? Comment below about anything related with Someone Like Me.
  13. What's that new word?
  14. This is just the worst. My Dad decided it would be a good idea to post a picture of our family of four on howold.net As the results turn out, this was not a good idea at all. Can I just say before you laugh at the results image that I'm 16 and Mum is 45ish. She wasn't wearing any makeup either. (Note: Photo has been cropped to disclude rest of family)
  15. *seperate, not 'deeper are'
  16. It will be on a deeper are entry. Sorry, that part was a little vague.
  17. Haha yes I do play. That's very observant of you
  18. I have already made suggestions about this, but now it is official. I will be interviewing The_Jordanator about his story 'Someone Like Me.' The interview will be blogged here at the JordanNation Blog in two days time. The author promises information about the story that is a MUST know for all readers. He's also taking questions, and the first question somebody has already asked to tell him is: 'Have you ever been bullied for your sexuality?' The_Jordanator will be answering that question and much more very soon. Comment below for questions or any details you want to know about the self-interview.
  19. For sure it has to be Comsie's 'My Only Escape'
  20. Recently I checked out my status and reputation points. Now I know I'll sound egocentric when I say this, which I have proved to be in previous posts, but I think I'm getting popular. With a reputation of 129 with the caption 'Moving on up', is say that is a good on-track position to be in. Some other reputation levels are below that, which I'm confused about for some as they are really cool people. I think it's my story. Every chapter published gets a healthy growth spurt from the reputation level. I get reviews for every chapter, there are nearly 20,000 views...I haven't compared this with anyone else, but it sounds bloody damn good to me. Think about it: That's 20,000 different people at least viewing the first chapter of my story (although I'm not quite sure if it includes some bozo going into my story over and over again). I think that's something to be proud of. But it's all thanks to you guys! Without you, is be nothing and have no story to share my writing with. So thank you. I mean it
  21. I just wanted to say sorry for what I said in my last blog. Yesterday I posted an entry impersonating America for allowing their citizens to have guns, and comparing them to ISIS. I have realized that this was not a wise thing to do, and it has been made clear to me through your comments. I apologize for upsetting or riling up some of you because of my post, I want to say that I had no intention of making you feel upset about it. If you want me to, I can take down the entry. I did this as an example of how I like to make a mockery or find the hypocracy and irony in things of everyday life. As much as I wanted to amuse you, I admit I went too far with that in my last post. Next time if I want to mock something in my blog, I will do so on something we can all agree on. Kanye West. Please accept this apology and the fact that making a mockery of things is just a part of my personality, and that anything hurtful I may say is not meaningful, only for a joke. On a happier note, Chapter 5 of Someone Like Me is released! So hop onto a pirate unicorn and fly away to my story! Or you could ditch the unicorn and click on the link to my story here: https://www.gayauthors.org/story/the-jordanator/someonelikeme Bye for now, The_Jordanator
  22. I never thought it could happen. It's unusual for ones around my age for it to happen to them. And especially since it used to hurt me so much, I never thought it possible for me to actually like it. But the impossible, is now possible. That thing of course, was school. Not just school itself though. It was who was also at this school that counted. Namely, my two crushes: Malachi and Sean. Malachi, whose adorable face radiates warmth, which I was embraced with when he smiled at me. It
  23. *America:* Boy, look at all the American fatalities that have happened over the past year, especially with all the shootings and gun-related murders. How could this possibly happen? *America:* It can't be because our citizens are legally allowed to own and use guns for 'self defense', a rather loose and uncontrolled law that has every potential to go very wrong and blast our nation into a pile of blood and smoking guns and at the very least, significantly decrease the global population. No it couldn't be that at all. *ISIS:* And you think we're the bad ones?
  24. That is a very clever way to get people to listen to you!
