    Chapter 18

I have just added a scene in that should explain what Tarquin has done regarding the legal issues. that will go live with tomorrow's chapter.

    Chapter 22

Peter may be short, but he's never afraid.

    Chapter 18

He's still trying to be the good brother, he hasn't quite worked out that he can fight Tarquin, he keeps folding when he thinks he can... Tarquin just crushes him. Beaten dog syndrome, he gets glimmers, but I describe it as he's trying to stand up to Tarquin on broken legs. He keeps falling down.

    Chapter 18

I enjoy writing Orel, I kind of sit there thinking what would an Alien make of all of this, trying to get out of that standard way of thinking. My clear rule about writing him was to make sure he was Linux in a Window's world... perfectly capable, but goes about things in a fundamentally different way. He's written as owl-like, big glasses with a firm belief in A to the B to the C... as he gets stressed, as he does in this chapter he falls back on walls of logic and data. Finn is the only one who can pull him through those. He adores Finn: F + O = ❤️ Like the whole Dominos uniform arc, it wasn't him trying to be whimsical or cute, it was him trying to figure out how to ask Finn to sleep with him. He's woefully unequipped in that whole department because why would Oliver teach Orel about the birds and the Bees, and Tarquin is a WALL of ERROR DATA CORRUPTED. Orel is a wonder to write.

    Chapter 18

I do think Orel's insistence on the traditional rules of Marriage is first and foremost his love language, he believes in rules, protocol, and understands things when there is a clear way set out for him to do them. He has little time, or acceptance of wriggling. He likes things black and white. This is why Tarquin always misreads Orel, he is expecting Orel to exist in greys like he does, like he's made Oliver do. But Orel is just not built that way. It makes Orel, possibly, the most honest character I have ever written.

    Chapter 22

I am afraid Madam Xue is having happy fun times with Chad Wexler, another pig who has her attention. Someone has to kick the pig.

    Chapter 22

There are two guard in the room with assault rifles. Peter wouldn't make it across the table.

    Chapter 18

We can presume this is true, I should tighten down on the details in the next chapter. The legal side of things, TBH I hadn't really thought to put it in, the implication being Tarquin sorted it... but that is a bit of a cop out, as you've pointed out. Thank you, I will ensure it's sorted for the next chapter.

    Chapter 18

Exactly, Tarquin's been outfoxed, he just doesn't know it yet. Once that marriage happens, his power evaporates. His fault is his blinding arrogance that he thinks he's winning. There are no brakes on the train, and it's heading for a gorge.

    Chapter 18

The plan is still in place, but Tarquin is in no hurry. My thought was it's a transition period. Things need to be finished up, equipment needs to be packed up, and the DeLorean isn't going anywhere till it's done the engine swap. So a beat or two for our heroes to think and settle on a plan. :: shrugs ::

    Chapter 18

I have a character that bought one in a police auction, and he's basically hot-rodding it. It's a really interesting car... not this one in the auction here, but in general... You're basically getting your paws on a car that won't be out for a few years, and it's held together by prayer, bailing wire, and a song.

    Chapter 18

I am talking about a MULE car, it's a prototype used to test designs of cars and various new ideas... Like this : https://www.carscoops.com/2026/01/ford-gt-development-auction/

    Chapter 18

Here's a question, does anyone have any experience with MULE prototypes? Ever seen one, touched one? I need to ask some questions.

    Chapter 18

It's certainly potent enough to cause an anyerism, especially when Tarquin realizes that the Grady's now own the town.

    Chapter 18

Orel Montague Grady Tarquin's about to get kicked where it hurts.
  18. Chapter Nineteen: The Cherry Lemonade Contract The LS-3 engine was a beast of aluminum and precision, suspended from heavy steel chains, hovering two inches above the engine bay of the DeLorean like a transplanted heart waiting for its final connection. It was a conflict of intentions. The Corvette’s heart was all raw power; the DeLorean’s body was a monument to disappointed futures. Finn was trying to make them belong to each other. He was covered in a fine mist of sweat and 5W-30. E

    Chapter 22

Certainly, he can't risk Will Carter getting angrier. Carter's already proven highly dangerous in the campaign, add to it righteous fury over his son being murdered at the hands of the Occupation Authority... that would be a trainwreck through election, and would swing favour squarely to Carter. And the last thing Graves wants is to be standing over the corpse of the son of the next President... that's a whole different world of "oh crap I done f-ed up"

    Chapter 22

OMG, I've done this... :: hangs head in 2000's Chad shame ::
  22. Some one gave me some GREAT advice. It's electrolytes, the headaches... so a sports drink, Gatorade or something similar will help clear it in a pinch, and REST. So yeah I'm a dumbble truck

Hey he is the Donut Lord! And we know Garrett's going to get him on a treadmill, because as soft and bouncy as Kyle is, Garrett's not going to let him get away with it.

    Chapter 22

West is going to do unspeakable things to the man threatening his Nephew. I've been playing this very close to what happened in a small village in France during the war. The brave sacrifice of the women of the resistance there, "Comfort girls" many of whom were branded collaborators, but were stealing vital intel, secrets, and tying up German commanders in complex knots. Selling themselves for a chance for a Free France. If you get a chance, read the stories of some of these girls, some of them as young as 16, who literally saved the war effort. Provided German movements, plans, and tied up Germans when D-day hit. EDIT: There were many boys as well. They played an equal role, many of them executed when the Germans retreated. Too young for what they had to endure.
