It might be a tinsy bit bigger than I anticipated at over 200,000 words and closer to 40 chapters... it needed some edits... and additional work... and I might have gotten carried away. But I decided not to split it and let it do the work.

Aaah, I adore Peter. He's evolved and just become so enjoyable to write. Though West needs to cut Peter's sodium intake if he's going to continue running with that high blood pressure.

Oliver Merrick, the comptroller and brother to a very quiet, mousey, sweetheart of a town record keeper, who Lydia may or may not be trying to get to ask her out. Except he is soooo shy she's having difficulties and demands Finn solve this problem. Excellent I have my scenario, I have my chaos Goblin muse on standby, and I have a coffee... on to write... and this, generally, is how these Merrickville stories get born.
