  1. Right! Always making us salivate, of what's coming in the future. Evil I say! Evil!
  2. I have to agree with the other posts. Last chapter having an evil cliffhanger? Chapter 20 is the one with the ending, that has me on the edge of my seat. As always, thanks for the chapter. I found this one remarkable, in that we see Garret more as an "normal", albeit powerful, human. With his panic and his emotions about his son and nephew. Also I want to know, if there are really the "invader from outer space". :-p Regards, Daniel
  3. I remember Dan talking about location and size of the three great powers, but don't recall a drawn map. The idea of one is appealing, though. Daniel BTW: If Dan's blog still exists, the link on the author pages is broken. As most links on other author pages, since a change in the server software. Also browsing blogs is difficult. I, at least, can't find a way to get a listing of available blogs, only a digest of the last entries in the whole blogging system. The only way I found is to look into the profile oft he persons of interest.
  4. I was on a short ski trip, entirely disconnected from the net. A. t. m., I'm on a train, on my way home. Civilisation has me back and I'm finally able to read the new chapter. The cliffhanger wasn't as bad, as anticipated. Good chapter, that leaves me wondering, what Garret is screaming about. Thanks Dan.
  5. Good question. To be true I got doubts, when I read about the anomaly in Peladon space. But I still don't see aliens coming, guns blazing. Maybe we already know the "aliens"? I'm not sure anymore, but it seems a bit cheap if all factions simply unite and fight against an common, overwhelming threat, that appeared out of nowhere. Sure, this is a classic theme, but won't fit with Dan's other stories. At least it would have more substance behind it. Happy Christmas holidays, everyone. Daniel
  6. First. Thanks for even two chapters, Dan. Off to read now...
  7. A very emotional chapter. It isn't often that Dan tries to pluck heartstrings, but he did it well. Now I'm actually dreading the threatened cliffhanger, having some rough presumptions. Thank you, Dan. Off to sleep now... Daniel
  8. 5am? It's 2:50am here, now. And I won't find sleep until Ive finished the chapter.
  9. Pah! Threatening us with a evil cliffhanger! Seems hollow. I want proof. Now! ...and the the conclusion, right after.

    DC (and boredom)...

First time comment from me. I got to know about you leucimia a few weeks ago. I'm glad that you're doing well, considering the circumstances. My best wishes for successful fight against the disease and a fest recovery.
  11. Say Orrock, are you sitting in front of your Browser, refreshing Dan's site every few seconds? Damn, you are fast announcing new chapters. I'm still not sure what's up with the prophet and the sisters, but thanks to Henry being sneaky and doing what he has been build for, Atrix Prime has been warned. Even if it was only partly necessary, with them misleading Torellini's fleet. Thanks for the chapter, Dan.
  12. That's cleared then. <yodah>Or is it not?</yodah> There are still a few things, that had me thinking. Some parts don't really fit, which brings me back to the prophet. How informed is he, what are his true aims? If Torellini is such a bother, why doesn't he put him on a short leash, instead of letting him run rouge and investing significant resources on an assault against Atrix Prime? At least he should be aware that a raid won't make Garret benevolent, in future negotiations. Ah, all this political intrigues are making my head spin. Now, that the friar is gone and Henry is supposedly free of surveillance equipment, Garret should be able to warn Atrix Prime. Not that they didn't reckon an attack. Sure, he can't do much more, without endangering his son. Another thing is, that I'm still waiting for Henry to pull up his metaphorical sleeves and to show his "crew" how a spaceship is flown.
  13. Say that again. I'm waiting for Jamie, over at awesomedude, forever.
  14. If Dan's back, thank's for that. What I think about the hiatus, not having a problem with it in general, but with the reasons and intentions behind it, is written in another thread and in an PM to Dan directly. I'm usually not resentful, if there's even enough to be resentful about. Mark, it's OK to inquire, but your tone doesn't appear diplomatic. OK, Dan's heated answer isn't that nice either. Again, if Dan desists from a hiatus, welcome back. Ah... And I hope everyone had a happy thanksgiving. Being a German barbarian I can't really relate, but I hope everyone had a nice time with the ones he/she loves. Daniel PS: Hey, what's that "Profilic Member"-banner doing under my avatar? Guess everyone gets it, with the 100'th post, but nice none the less. [Edit] Spelling errors and PS.
  15. I suppose so. But one can't be really sure, until the next chapter. :-) At that moment he had enough other worries, to distract him.
