  1. I 'KNOW', right? I was actually pretty confident about the test when I was taking it. Hehehe, I thought I'd at LEAST get a 70%. I guess I need more practice
  2. One question I always ask at the Shack every six months or so, just to get an idea on what people think, is this:<p> IF....there was a magic pill out there, created tomorrow and put on the open market....that would easily and flawlessly make the 'gay' go away....would you take it?<p> If it would chemically stop you from being a homosexual...and suddenly make you straight (Or...as most would have you believe....'normal'), would you want it?<p> On one hand, you give up everything that you are and everything that you've learned to live with over time. Your life would change drastically, and the chance of you being the person you are now, might be lost for good.<p> On the other hand, you are being given the chance to let go of the stigma of being gay. You could be socially accepted. You could be free of what some would consider a 'curse'...and could live an entirely different life from the one you have now. Without judgement or ridicule. <p> What do you think? If someone could 'cure' you tomorrow....would you want to be cured? Let me know what you think....<p>
  3. DAMN! Hehehe! Good man! <p> I really screw up on those double 'tt's, double 'rr's, and double 'cc's'! Every time! <p>
  4. Good points made all around. And I agree with a great deal of it. Sometimes it's really difficult to get a bunch of creative individuals on the same project. So keeping it down to just a few choice authors is probably best. The less, the better.<p> But I still don't think it's impossible for a round robin type of story to work. It just takes a lot of work and communication to pull it off. As I believe that I was warned about that before starting the "Lost In Shadow" story on my website a year or two ago. ::winks::<p> As for a smaller collaboration, I really like the idea of it. I think the matching of styles and ideas would really be something amazing if it could be pulled off. Something like that takes a lot of hard work and planning, but how would that be any different from a lot of well written online stories? You know? I think it's just a matter of 'constant' communication and discussion, and most important of all, compromise. Which is extremely hard for a lot of authors. But not impossible. I'd love to see some match ups come together, you know? Great minds could do amazing things when they work together.
  5. Hehehe, awesome! I could see that! Love the facial expression too! It fits.
  6. I only got 56%! OUCH!!! I need to definitely keep this little test by my side for future reference. Hehehe!<p> Check it out. See how you do!<p> http://www.businesswriting.com/tests/commonmisspelled.html
  7. I've been desperately trying to fight my way through holiday retail hell the past two weeks. And this week I was pretty much forced to work 6 days (And yes, that includes an 11 hour shift on Christmas Day), but this chaos will be overwith by the weekend. If I can survive the next three days without choking anybody to death with my bare hands, I'll be ok. If not...well, just look for me on the news.
  8. An hour to three days? That's sweet! And believe me, I know what you mean about the 'mood'. Sometimes the mood speeds things up, sometimes it slows things down. But you've definitely tapped into something there. Someone just recently posted a really cool picture of Taryn on the Shack too! You should check it out. You two have literally blown my mind! I love it! Have you thought about opening up your own online gallery or anything?'
  9. Hehehe, Psh! Are you serious? More Comsie is ALWAYS a bad thing! Lucky for me, you guys are just as crazy as I am! ::Giggles::
  10. What's up UE??? Hehehe! ::
  11. I saw your other drawings too! You ARE good! How long does it take you to finish one?
  12. ::Waves:: Hehehe! Hiya, Steph!
  13. ((Hugz)) Thanks! Hits close to home for me too. Both sides. Live and learn, I suppose.
  14. **OMG**!!!! Dude....that is AMAZING!!!! Wow! I'm literally blown away! I love it! Would you mind posting it on the "Blood Bank" too??? This is truly, unbelievably, awesome!!!!!!
  15. If this works and I can post on my own.... I might be here a LOT more often! Hehehe! And that would be awesome! Sorry, I'm too independent for my own good! ::Giggles:: Seezya soon!
  16. And here I though I was going to be better about keeping up with my news updates on the website as well as the mailing list! Psh! So much for me being dependable! (As though you guys expected more of me at this point?) Anyway, if you guys have been following the site updates lately, you know that things have been incredibly busy here this past month and a half! We've had numerous updates to stories like "Gone From Daylight", "Savage Moon", "Taryn's Song", and at least FIVE new chapters of "Billy Chase"!!! Also...there has been a HUGE rush of approval for the brand new series "S-K-Y-L-I-G-H-T", that debuted right around Halloween!!! Thanks sooooo much for the amazing input! And for those who weren't there to help us celebrate...."S-K-Y-L-I-G-H-T" is officially the Shack's 200TH STORY!!! Ye, that's 200 hundred stories on the sites, all by yours truly! It's no wonder that my brain hasn't imploded by now. Hehehe! But hey, I'm having fun! I hope you guys are too! Also...the Shack has FINALLY seen some stories in PRINT!!! That's right...there is now a hardback BOOK that you can purchase online, called "The Shack Collection, Vol. 1", and can own for a low price! Vol. 2 is coming soon! And soon, there will be a few 'book only' stories available for purchase as well! Stuff that WON'T appear online anywhere! So stay tuned for details! This is a milestone for the site, and we are all extremely happy to have a brand new way to bring the stories to each and every one of you guys who have supported the site for so long! And to all of you new readers who have been helping our family grow even bigger than it was before! Thank you!!!!<p> AND...if you haven't heard..."Gone From Daylight" has gone to a whole other level now! There is an actual vampire LANGUAGE that was created to go along with the story! Not just gibberish and made up sounds...but an actual LANGUAGE that you can learn to speak and translate, that has never been created before! Wanna know more? Check out the "GFD: Wiki" site..or the "GFD: Blood Bank" message board to find out more! I'm learning it too! Hehehe, it's soooo beautiful, you should check it out. That's it for now! I've already talked way too much for a little news article! Keep checking back! And look for more surprises soon! Cool? I plan to shock a few more times before the end of the year! Hehehe! COMING SOON: "Dreamlover 3" and "Magic Man 3"!!!!
  17. The end? Nah! Hehehe, I've stll got more chapters to go! Besides, Zach hasn't gotten Brody all naked and sweaty yet! ::Giggles:: Seriously though, I appreciate it man! And there's more to come. October was just absorbed by the sci-fi stories this time around!
  18. Hahaha! SWEET!!! I love it! Dude, you should definitely post this to the "Blood Bank"! Believe it or not, the place on the site for stuff like this is called the "Raider's Market", so it fits perfectly! Do you have any more?
  19. Thanks! Sorry if the announcement didn't go out. I haven't found out if it's my email, or the mailing list that is acting screwy...but sometimes my mailings don't go out until hours after I send them. Sometimes they don't go out at all. Sometimes they go out twice. ::Headache:: I'll see if there's a way to fix it. As for "Billy"...he's got an exciting few weeks ahead of him! Hehehe!
  20. Wow.....THANK YOU!!! Oh wow... ((Hugz)) And yes, there will definitely be a part two! (Or I should say, 'second half', as that will complete the story) But it will definitely get posted! Unfortunately, it took me two whole weeks to rewrite a major plot element of the story and fix it with something else. Luckily it was one of those rare occassions where I thought the newer idea was better, so I'm extremely happy to hear that you liked it! Thanks again! You guys are awesome!
  21. LMAO!!! Wow...you guys are wild! And you didn't even think about how I was going to work the 800 pound gorilla into all this! Don't worry...I tease, but I pay off...eventually. ::Giggles::
  22. Mafia clique, eh? Hehehe, I like it. Without giving away what's planned for this and the next chapter, I can definitely tell you that the more Wesley tries to fight it, the stronger the pull will become. And God forbid if Cyrus has to step in to 'help' him know his place. ::Nods With A Grin::
  23. OMIGOD! Hehehe sweet! Now there's a pet you can let guard the house while you're gone! (Well..at night, anyway!)
  24. Hehehe, ohh believe me...we're just getting STARTED with that one! You ain't seen nothin' yet! >
  25. Why THANK YOU, my lady! I was thinking about asking someone to act as my 'ambassador' and post that over here! Right on time as usual, beautiful!
