"Holiday Rush" (Part One) "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" was the song that got to me that night. Something about a truly heartfelt rendition of that particular tune always tugs on the emotions during this time of year. The local gay bar was half empty, but it's the holidays, so I expected as much. I wasn't really there for a hook up or anything. I was mostly looking to be alone, and to get a few mixed drinks from a bartender that knew me and my tipping habits well enough

Sometimes, you just want to go out to a bar and enjoy some peace and quiet when the holidays are rapidly approaching. Nothing wrong with that. But, every once in a while...you get a mini blast from the past when you least expect it. And it just might turn out to be the holiday cheer you've been looking for.

"Wounded" Jace's tears were like a corrosive acid to my current emotional state of mind. They bled from his eyes in ways that looked as though the heat of despair and heartbreak should have scalded his fair skin beyond repair. True tears.
