    First Surge 2

Great chapter. How times are Victor and Chris go walking in deserted areas at night before they catch on that's a no-no? How long is it going to take before they get their heads on straight and take the threat from the Blood Army seriously? Particularly Victor, he's like a CEO without a clue that his company's in trouble.

    Shad Chapter 14

Thank you, Preston. I learned a lot about Australia, especially the west coast, from your stories. No I'm learning about the Anglican church. You're stories are much more entertaining than Google searches.

    Shad Chapter 14

I can understand the additional parents and students wanting to attend. But how come so many high church dignitaries and politicians? Is consecrating an Anglican church that rare?

    Late Lunch

Thanks for filling in the origin stories of the bar and gym. It's like what Star Wars has been doing. There are quite a few other places and people in the life of that certain character. I'd enjoy reading about any of them if you ever get the urge.

    Late Lunch

Thanks for the update. You sure are juggling a lot of balls, er, stories! I hope the love your readers send you (although we may not say it directly) helps you keep doing that.

True dat. It's been over 3 years since you put American Steel on temporary hold. Do you think you'll write any more chapters?

    Late Lunch

Thanks, Carlos. I had read it years ago. Great job in expanding it into a full(er) story.

I'm enjoying the story. It is a tricky choice you face. You could have put Prime up as one longer story (no chapters). We would have told you how much we enjoyed the length and what a great Saturday read it was. And then complained when we had to wait a whole month before your next story. I'm going to keep my grumbling to myself and just enjoy whatever you send me whenever you do, like receiving birthday presents from you throughout the year.

And you do. The only comments that hint of complaint are "Thank you, more, please" and "Longer, longer."

Yay, a new story. And a new cast of characters. Fun, fun, fun for your fans. The fly in the ointment, though...is this going to be another 1K words per chapter deal? Please say, no! Give us more each Saturday.

    Days of Calm 1

Maybe Chris has an Elfin power, one he's not aware of himself. An automatic power that protects him. A glamour that befuddles others. People (human and not) see Chris, but the glamour lulls their minds, which slip and slide away from what's going on. And they end up not seeing/understanding what would be obvious to them if their mind was not glamoured.

    The Meeting

I sure hope Chris talks to Victor about his dreams soon.

    Chapter 1

More please. A very interesting world and two characters I want to get to know better

    Chapter 1

A great fun story. Every time I read it, it's as enjoyable as the first time. It's like every time Uncle Myr comes to visit, all us kids ask him to tell the Jerry story again. And want more Jerry stories, please Uncle Myr. It's been over a dozen years now. Tell your muse to get in gear for the sake of your readers. (And I do know it ain't that easy, no it's not.) Thanks for all the pleasure over the years!
  17. And how come Victor hasn't noticed the pendant and asked Chris about it? It seems like Chris wears it all the time, even in bed.

    Shad Chapter 1

Great start to the story. And a pleasant surprise that your mode of storytelling this time around is "showing rather than telling." Architectural description has played a big part in your stories. It'll be interesting to see what happens when two of your main characters are architects!

A great story, fun, light reading. It was a nice interlude to have one of your stories with no obstacles to overcome and an angst-free relationship (so far). Very sweet. It's great when you throw in a shorter story from time to time. As long as you keep the longer stories coming our way.

    Roommates

Great chapter. Lots of smiles, no tears. Phil's family reminds me of CJ's, lots of joking, support and love. Plus a smack to the head and "Asshole."

You've already drafted a couple of college football players into the CJ-verse. It would be great to add these two as well. Or you could draft CJ & Owen into the RiPhil-verse! Whichever you do, please provide an English translation.😁 Most pollyanna-ish gay stories are so unbelievable they seem to take place in an alternate universe. You're such a great writer, Carlos, that these guys and their environment and families are so real and grounded that I believe this could really be happening. Thank you for warming my elder's heart ❤️.

Hey, Carlos. Your 2018 story "Tomorrow" is flagged "Contributer has not yet released this story." I remember it as a good one, right out of the day's news. Are you revising it?

Great start to a story. No angst, rather a young man past that and ready to come out confidently. Wilton Manors, isn't that where you live? Were you one of bar patrons? Happy New Year!

Will one of those be the Atlantis story you said you were writing? Please, please, please.

Thanks for another great story, Carlos. I enjoy how CJ matures from story to story. His dads' and their friends' support, love, advice, and themselves-as-examples -- as well as Owen's love and calm presence -- are evident in how the scared, hurt and angry teenager turned into the self-possessed, considerate man, able to express his anger without exploding on everyone, CJ is now. Bravo! I look forward to more stories about CJ, Owen, and the squad members. Happy New Year and a healthy, prosperous and joy-filled 2020 to you, your kith and kin, and all your readers!
